((Well Pandemonium is really starting to act up. Not sure when I'll actually be able to post again. Hopefully Dreamquest of Unknown Kadath will arrive by wednesday.

*Flashback of an old movie in which a heroic dog becomes rabid at the end and has to be put down* (I realize that's a somewhat convoluted flashback description but I can't for the life of me remember the name of that movie. I want to say it's Lassie but it just does'nt seem right.)

i bought my toshiba when i was in iraq, and i've put this thing to the test. it's been through countless sandstorms, dropped several times, kicked, thrown, shot with a bb gun, etc.... and it's still running tougher than i do. lol. just something to consider |

*Throws a white curtain behind himself*
Leave Pandemonium alooooooone! It tries so hard for you unappreciative buggers, and you just want more more MORE! *cries mascara tears* LEAVE IT ALONE!
Also, Caroline, I don't know if you just called it Pandemonium for the thread or not, but its cool to see someone else who names their computer something other then "Steve's Desktop". I personally have named all my computers after Greek heroes of myth and legend. My desktop is Achilles, my work laptop is Perseus, and my gaming laptop is Theseus. Yes, I get made fun of alot for it. |

((Wallstreet,
I pretty much name everything I own. Yeah, I'm kinda lame like that. For a long time all my computers were called Pandemonium. But, lately, both my actual desktop and my laptop basically failed on me... like epic-level failure.
So... I decided that I needed to name my going-to-get-here-shortly new laptop something else... so... it became Dreamquest of Unknown Kadath.)) |

Bummer, Caroline.
There is nothing worse then catastrophic hardware failure. I really hope your new laptop works out better, fingers crossed for no lemons. |

What do you have against lemons? There's plenty of great things to do with lemons. Lemon drops, lemon Starbursts, lemonade, I could go on. |

Caroline, to be honest, the naming thing kinda makes me want to make a name for my computer. If I can set a custom BIOS flash screen, I'd perhaps go as far as to commission one. I'm usually good with custom names, but for now I'm drawing a blank. Black and red are my main colors, so I'm thinking of something chaotic... (Yes, the same colors used for my fursona, got a problem with that?) |

Anyhows, black-and-red... How about Backgammon?)) |

Ah yes computer names. Well, all of the computer's on our network have different name of various computer disasters from scifi. Mine's Colossus, Mom's is Skynet, and our wireless network is HAL. If you're wondering why my mother hate's computers so everything was named appropriately. |

I name precious items that I own. My last computer was named Misha, and the one I use now I call Mika. My car I named Aurica, she is my baby -hugs my car- |

No hostility meant, really. The got a problem with that...well come to think of it I have no idea why I added that. I guess it just sounded a bit funny at the time.
Anyways, backgammon won't do. I don't think I've ever played it and I suck at checkers...
I've come up with Sanguine Umbra as a working name for now. |
