although cats nails are dangerously sharp, it's not good to clip their nails, mostly because they lose "confidence" and the sense of equilibrium is affected, it's like you get both shoes tied up together and try to walk... |

Really i didnt know that. The vet actually recommending cutting his nails down, as they were very long and razor sharp. |

oh, well, yeah i think your vet recommended that because your cat is "new" in your hands, hence he's not used to you yet (and that's a potential danger). Believe me i had a cat for 6 years, and they get gradually confident with their owners, so for now is better to have Charlie with short nails, but that's not really good for them. |

LOL....Funny you should say that, he loves looking at all the neighbourhood cats. But i dont think he knows how to deal with the ladies, he just lays in the grass and pretends hes not interested, while taking a little look when he thinks there not looking
I think he's trying to play it cool |

Hmmm is it the same thing as with dogs that cats are like their owners.
Hope the weather will be nice enough that you can lay next to Charlie on the grass! |

LOL Charlie is just like his mother, only thing is if i like someone i would say so
I have tried laying with Charlie on the grass, but i think im cramping his style, as he's not that keen on being seen with me while chasing the birds, and watching the ladies
Teenagers Charlie is a one year old, in human years he is 15. Differcult age i imagine |

Yeah they seem to catch disseases easily when running outside, plus lots of cats get hit by cars...a friend of mine lost 2 cats that way |

Thats so sad, im never gonna let Charlie out on his own
About a year ago i was in my car, and saw a couple standing in the street crying, and i could see a dead cat on the floor. It was so sad |

Yes, i can imagine you would have felt really bad even though it wasn't your fault and there was nothing you could do to prevent it. Its just one of those sad things in life |

I had the exact same thing happen to me, rastus. Fortunately I wasn't going very fast because I'd just been stopped at a red light, so the dog survived the incident. Sure didn't sound good when it went under the car though. To make matter worse I was sick as hell, and just on my way home from buying some chicken noodle soup at the store. What an abysmal day that was. |
