| ok i came up with this when i thought about the possibility of food in bon bon and when i reply in miss symphony's thread
some are carnivores, some are omnivore, some are herbivore

in such a upstate and advanced society such as bon bon of course they have probably have many menu in their restaurant to suit their needs

well take me as a carnivore species a tiger, I can probably eat fresh green salad but I would love to eat a rare steak (cooked first of course and eaten on a plate)

now of course for herbivore, i cant possibly see a horse species eating a meat, that would be taboo isn't it? I mean its like eating the your cousin >_< (a horse eating a cow) but maybe there is some kind of fake meat for vegetarian like today.

what is concerning me is, if there are meat in bon bon, where does it come from? it spooks me out. is it from chicken? or cow? I sure hope it comes from feral cow if it is, not from a fursona cow, that would be horrifying
and if there is no meat whatsoever in an advanced society like bon bon, is it possible we all eat fake vegetarian meat?
so what are your thoughts? and also what food your fursona would eat in bon bon?

PS: this is what i mean by vegetarian meat http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Meat_analogue

PS: for moderator it seems i post this in the wrong topic, I should have post it in the Pleasure bon bon discussion, not the fursona disscussion. Will it be ok if the topic is moved there?

| This is exactly why my furson hunts for his food. Mainly goes after feral boars in the woods. | | _________________

| There are feral versions of the various species in Bon Bon. That's where the meat comes from.
It's my impression from various posts I've read, and the PBB comic itself, that the people of bon Bon generally base their diet on whether they are carnivores or herbivores. So someone like my fursona wouldn't eat a steak, for example, but is otherwise probably free to eat vegetables, sweets, fruit, baked goods and such. They aren't feral animals, so I don't expect the herbivores to just eat a big bowl of grass.

I do wonder if the social behaviour and relations to other species is somehow affected by whether someone is carnivore or herbivore, though I suspect it isn't. It's a civilized society after all.

| You raise a good point. From what I've seen, herbivores tend to be more calm and docile... except for Constance in issue 6, but then again, she was defending herself. Poor Randy. | | _________________

| Ther are feral creturs in bonbon as we can see seens domecicated feral horses pull carages. So its only odvius that ther are feral pigs, cows, chickens, etc.
Also as far as vegan selections go ther is tofu and soy based foods as well as the basic vegtables and fruts for thous that lack the type of teeth needed for meat consomption.

ahh yes feral version of cow and chickens
and yeah a big bowl green salad is ok for you, me too XD

 and about the social behavior....hmmm

well i see that they are not affected and still allright

but a fursona cow, would still feel odd seeing a tiger eating a steak

but anyways I also beginning to see that even herbivore fursona would not even eat a vegetarian meat

| Omnivore, with a preference to meat. Runai is just like any other person, but with his heritage to the vulpine family, he has a preference to meat. That does not mean that he is incapable of eating vegetables either, but like any animal, they go for what it takes to survive. | | _________________
