Bridget Janine Azure, just B.J. to her friends.
Since I have nothing better to do and seeing how many like the new character, I figured that I should create a separate thread to discuss about her.
By the way, for those who didn't know the pic below is where I got the idea for a blue jay character:
http://e621.net/post/show/16544/avian-bird-blue_jay-female-glasses-gryphon-hindpaw
So feel free to discuss anything about her, like possible history, ideas and such.
My only idea so far is that I think she should have black nipples and vagina to match her color scheme more. |

I personally prefer her to have pink nipples. That's what I think would look best on her. Had they been black, I think they could have been less noticeable in her overall color scheme. As they are now, they really stand out and catch the eye.
Pollyanna also has pink nipples, but I don't know if it's something Vanessa has chosen for avians, or if it's just by coincidence. In fact, I don't really know how much thought she gives to what color nipples each character has.
To be honest, I haven't really paid much attention to what color nipples each character has. |

Bridget is fantastically done. That's Vanessa again, making unbelievable art. Great idea UltimaWolf. |

Bridget most definately has been a well deserved character, and seeing her in the comic has me more convinced. Just looking at her can show that she is observant, but not completely aware of what is happening. Apparent especially when Betty was 'servicing' Ronald as Bridget was filing paperwork. |

I wonder how old Bridget is. She has a very stylished and mature look, so I'm personally guessing that she's in her late twenties.
I also can't help but draw comparisons to Pollyanna, our only other named female avian. Pollyanna seems the younger and more innocent of the two, while Bridget has a highly sophisticated and intellectural look. |

About the nipples, I have Cocorita parrots like Pollyanna and their skin covered by feathers is pink even their foot is azure or brown, so I chosen pink for B.J. as well.

I will draw a nude version of B.J. as soon as possible, now my priority after the color's work on the last pinups for the anniversary is to draw the new comic page and catch up the delay.
Thank you for your appreciation on Bridget Janine

After seeing the latest page I will have to admit that BonBon needs more birds. Though I created one myself a few years ago and reciently had a commission done of her. Though the character would not be bonbon material due to her species being mythical but I hope it's okay to show off the pic for those interested.

I hope we see more of Bridget and Polly in the future. |

I don't really remember Pollyanna being in the comic so far, just pinups and concept art. I hope she does make her way into the pages of the comic since she has a certain allure to her that I never saw in avian races before. Still, Bridgett has that mature quality like Symphony said, but the way I see it tells the tale that most of the girls in story have, a fun loving, carefree while hiding intellect that allows them to outsmart any male they come across. |

Well, if you change the feather coloring she could make a nice peacock. |

Pollyanna appears in Issue #6 page 21.
Personally I don't really think think that the comic needs more avian characters at the moment. I'd rather see some more of the existing ones. Pollyanna hasn't really appeared much, and this is a case where I'd rather see more of the less shown characters, than see more introduced. Though I guess we could use a male avian as well. Might be something for Drodel. |

Speaking of existing characters we don't see much of and I know this is slightly off topic but what the heck ever happened to the Scarlett Blut comic? Nothing has been done with it in ages. :/ |

Who BJ or my birdy? Personally I think they are both Sexy and may I make a request that may get me into trouble or maybe some grins. I hope more on the latter so our good doctor doesn't have to piece me back together. XD
I request that sometime in the comic Ultimawolf's BonBon self has a nice encounter with Bridget. |

Aww, thanks for the sweet sentiment. I must sincerely second this notion.
The latest page makes me love her more than ever. And it's sweet that she still concerned over Ronald despite his "tantrum". Someone needs to "comfort" her a bit after this.
Plus I really like the WIP reference sheet. |

I have to agree I do like her reference sheet as well. I'll have to get one done someday of my ice phoenix fem Phendrana (Yes I admit I am a metroid fan.) |

I must admit the colors are striking and although blue jays for some may be more common, it does nothing to take away from their beauty. The one thing, however, that comes to mind with avians is the male trend. In most species of birds that are more attractive it is the male that has the more striking coat and is therefore a bit harder to find female avians that can be taken to be as striking as the male counterpart.
Though the talk of avians forces me to recall Marx, who had a raven fursona. Hopefully when he has the funds for membership, he will return. |

bridget...is by far the prettiest bird around. perhaps it was also because of her little beak mouth which made her cute, and so does her blue color and overall marking. and head hair style. and her suit
and i agree, her looks, and also....charisma (i can feel her charisma, she looks calm and cool headed) she is very mature, i can see her as my boss/misstress that helps junior employee or such
....and...one last question...i was wondering....
is she....bi?
PS: it made me wonder how i will look like if i am a bluejay fursona too, although I would be a whitejay, since....well i'm white |

That would make sense drag, since the term 'opposites attract' would bring about a slew of love-hate conversations with them, which is always heated. In the end though, they forgive one another and become more intimate. Sounds silly but it would be interesting. |

My favourite image of her so far has to be panel one of page 9. She just looks so beautiful and alluring there, and her eyes are really captivating. I don't know if anyone else thinks the same, but to me, it looks like in that panel she's contemplating possible ways to "help" Ronald: perhaps in a way that Betty already is doing so. |

I was absolutely thinking that. She gave a very suggestive look to Ronald. |
