Nichols eyes widened and he cleared his throat.

Just then Maxwell arrived back into the house and made his way up the stairs. Nichols spoke again, this time manipulating what the two lovers might have heard to put them off what he had said.

"Well, I say again MAXWELL... Ur, What have you heard?"

Max looked up stairs to see Nic in the hall outside Miss Constans' Room.

"Huah? What did you say Nic?" He said, confused at the situation.

Nic then motioned to the door he was standing at and spoke clearer again.

"I Seen you leave from the window in my room, I assumed you were heading into town to discuss our stagecoach arrangements? A driver is always found this late in a bar. And I KNOW you were in one."

Max looked at Nichols,still confused until he looked at Catherine and then to the door of Constan's room.

"Ur... Yeah.... Yes that's what I was doing. Nic."

"Good! I am Glad I was walking out of my room just now to confront you about this."

Nichols smiled and gave a thumbs up gesture to both Catherine and Max reassuringly. Hoping this would cover them.

"Er, Likewise Nic, I'm gonna bed now." He rolled his eyes as he realised that obviously they were being snoopy about the very thing he knew was happening behind the door.

Miss Constans then shrugged to Alex.

"I suppose I was wrong, all the better!"

(Don't worry about it, I was just opening the RP up for y'all again.)

Alex got out of the bed and pulled his pant up. He walked over and opened the door stepping outside with the others. Alex just glares at Nic and steps closer and puts his hand on Nic's shoulder "Don't do it again." he said to him before walking back into Constans room.

--Meanwhile in town--

A family of four arctic wolves go into a bar. The father walks up to the bartender "Excuse me. Do you know where I could find the man who deals with visitors?" he asked.

harvey who had been sitting on the window still looked out his window and sighed then heraing the commation he stood up and poked his head out the door.

"oi some of us are trying to think about things here will ya please quiet down sheesh"

"I feel like I just caught someone else's bullet. Do as the Romans do, Alex. Fuck, A kip would be a good idea right about now. I'm totally knackered." Nic sighed and headed for his room again.

"Oh jeez, is NO ONE asleep yet?? It's nearly 4am! I thought Would be the only one up a few minutes ago. I'm gonna head downstairs for a little walk around the rooms again, anyone want to join me?" Max laughed at the continued antics that never seemed to settle down.

(So Alex, will you be controlling the extra's?)

Alex walked over and layed back on the bed. He yawned before twisting a bit and cracking his back "Today has been one hell of a day." he said as he relaxed.
(yup, unless you gonna take Antonio again.)

By this point Miss Constans had disappeared from Alex's room.

Nichols went back into bed and Maxwell headed downstairs, he arrived in the main hall and looked up to whoever followed.

"Apparently people who get less sleep live longer." he said with a laugh of Irony.

Alex quickly fell asleep on the bed after a couple minutes.

*walks back to her room. Tonight listening session didn't go as planned but it still was fun. Catherine choose a side a the bed and lay on it leaving the other half to Nichols.*

Nichols got into the bed and sighed.

"I'm sorry I got us both caught Catherine, Sometimes I wish I could keep my big mouth shut."

Max looked around the hall and motioned to Harvey.

"I think this part of the house we still haven't looked at."

walking down the staris with max he ignored his sleep joke and looked where max said.

Max walked down the corridors and into what looked like a library.

"Hey, this must be where they keep the novels that Miss Constans wrote."

Max went over to the shelves and looked at the names of the books.

"You know Harvey, I went out for a while and I think I spotted another ghost."

"Well, we still have three more destinations before we catch the train back to Bon Bon, we'll be heading out of town in the morning." Nic put his arms under his head and stretched before yawning again.

"This travelling reminds me of my younger days, the fun I had was sensational." He smiled as he reminisced.

I travelled a lot too. Some time it was fun, sometime it was far from it. I didn't get good with Navajas and keep them on me all the time for nothing but I don't regret any of my trips.

Najava by itself aren't rare. You just have to go in the seedy waterfront or in the dark backstreets and you will find plenty of guys and have them and are never shy to show how good they are with them. They represented the ultimate means for resolving disagreements, misunderstandings, and problems that arose in dockside bars, darkened alleys, and an untold number of places not found in any guidebook. I take mines just the right size to be still easy to hide in my sleeves. Few inches of more in length make often a difference. It cost me a lot to change the handle for a more fancy one but I can't bear to walk with an unsightly blade on me.

*opens it in a swift movement.*

Beside the sound they make when they open always make me more secure. They kept me alive for years. An alone woman that can't afford rich transportation is an easy target.

Nichols watches her move with the knife, opening it in front of him and describing its chilling backstreet story. He felt slightly intimidated.

"I'm sure the reason lies more on your experience, rather than your choice of blade. I for one wouldn't know how to handle a knife or any kind of blade and I think without knowledge it would be rather useless in my hands."

Skill count indeed but when youmeet someone with the same competency and physical reflex that you, the choice of your blade make the difference. Size matter.

"Sure." Nichols takes the Navaja, he studies it and takes the blade out, he feels it with his fingers and puts it away.

"Pretty cool." He laughs at his choice of words. "You seem to only use this kind."

Yes, I grow fond of them. I could even said that they are lucky. Beside it's better to have a weapon that you know well. If you change often, you always have to keep in mind how long is the range of your current weapon and you aren't familiar with it's weight. Beside you have to watch the weight of your package when you travel and when you aren't rich you cannot waste money on a ton of weapons.

Yes, I didn't born rich, I worked my way to the top... and I also got lucky.

But then I retired and became a coach, I passed on my knowledge. Getting punched 500 times every week for a living got tiring." Nichols yawns. "Speaking of which, I am tremendously tired right now."
