Abigail sat at the blackjack table, she lost this time, a game of pure luck was all blackjack was, perhaps she needed to try one of more skill.

She stood up and took her chips, she might as well give up while she hasn't lost too much. But she would try something else before leaving. She looked around and noticed a dealer at a poker table, it was vacant. She decided to be the first one sitting at it.

She waited for the other players to join her.

Grimm finally snuck inside the Delight Castle yet again, barely avoiding an ass-kicking from the transexual at the door. With a sigh of relief, the panther quietly made his way to the gambling section and saw a lone female at the poker table. Grimm, being one who just adored making fun of people in the D.C., quietly made his way next to her and awaited for the dealer.

"Good day, Ma'am! You playing poker this evening?"

His voice seemed happy and obnoxious. Her scent was the same from Kyle's house though, so he decided to lay off most of the insults before saying something that would otherwise earn him a fist.

She smiled to the new acquaintance at the table. "Yes sir I am, will you be join me?" She responded, ambiguous to his tone of voice.

"Of course! A good round of poker never hurt anyone!....except for me."

His comment was meant at the times he had cleared out the table and pissed off god knows how many patrons after being suspected of cheating and the such. Finally, the dealer arrived at the table and when she saw Grimm with another patron, muttered a few words of disgust, but didn't say a word.

"Hmm? What?"

Grimm only looked at the dealer head-on, who seemed to be glaring at the panther.

(I only play Straight Poker, just FYI. Plus I'm using random.org to generate the cards to make it more fair.)

Abi only looked at them both and then tapped on the table, as if to say let's get a move on.

"The buy in is 500 chips" said the dealer calmly. chips were ten a piece at this table, it was the second cheapest. So Abi had enough, she had only about 75 florins left however, but Poker never was hard.

She took out two 100 chips for the table and then four 50's. Finally ten 10's stacked in two columns.

"Forced blind of 15 chips" he added.

Leaf had wondered in the Delight Palace to visit Yuna. He looked around, taking in the sights of his old workplace. His mind wondered to his memories of the place.

"Heh... It's been a while since I was last here. It was a bit of a challenge resisting the urge to indulge in the activities here."

He glanced at the poker table and noticed Abigail and another gentlemen playing poker. He dug in his pocket to check his money.

"100 florins left... Ah well. Might as well have some fun here."

He walked over to the table to join them.

Abi didn't wave to Leaf, as it may look like she planted him.

The Dealer nodded to him. "Opening is 500 chips if you wish to join, this table is 10 chips per Florin and there is a beginning blind of 15." He was still shuffling the cards.

Leaf nodded to the dealer and handed him 50 florins. He received two 100 value chips, two 50's and twenty 10's. He sat down next to the gentleman and organized the chip stacks in front of him.

Grimm only steeled his eyes, losing all of his prior obnoxious behaviour and completely focusing at the task at hand. When it came to gambling, Grimm was a whole different being, completely serious and focused at the odds. Fishing within his pockets, he pulled out 100 florins and passed them to the dealer.

"Game on."

His voice had seemed to have changed entirely as he received a good number of chips. 6 100 florin chips, 4 50's and 20 10 florin chips.
He silently slid two foward and awaited his cards.

Abi looked at her 500 chips on the table, she heard that the blind was 15 and she moved her big blind to the centre.

Leaf took two 10's from his value and placed them in the table centre. His eyes quickly glanced over to Grimm, noting the determined look on his face.

"This guy looks like a pro in the game," he thought to himself. "I better be careful around him so I don't lose it all..."

"Now then......let's begin."

His voice was different, his expression changed, even the air surrounding his usual stupidities and obnoxious behaviour seemed to have just banished. Both his hands were quietly set upon the table, only to quickly go below his chin, holding his head as he kept a keen eye on the dealer's hands.

The cards were dealt clockwise, Abi first, Grimm next, and the Leaf.

(I know there's a big lie factor here, but I really am using Random.org for this.)

Dealing one card at a time, they ended up with two cards each.

Abi's cards were the Queen of clubs and the 6 of clubs.
Grimm's cards were the Jack of spades and the 7 of diamonds.
Leaf's cards were the 10 of diamonds and the king of hearts.

Abi raises by 5.

Grimm only looked at his cards and matched the female's raise, waiting for the rabbit next to him to do the same or higher.

Leaf glanced at his cards and felt a little confident for his hand. He matched the other two player's bets.

As everyone now matched bets with her, she thought about her options, she could raise again, or she could check.

She set her hand face down carefully and tapped them, "Check."

She waited to see what the others did. They could either both check aswell and end the betting round to see the first three cards, or one of them could bet again and they would have to call again of fold.

Grimm's eyes quickly lowered down to the cards on the table and let out a silent sigh, hoping the rabbit next to him would do the same as to move up the game.

The rabbit looked at the dealer, waiting for the three cards to be dealt.

The dealer then dealt three cards face down on the table and flipped them over over at a time.

The cards were:

8 of Clubs
6 of Hearts
9 of Hearts

Abi picks up her cards again, then she takes 5 and throws it to the rest of the pot. "I'll make a bet." The other players would now have to either match her and call or they could fold. Or they could raise again.

Grimm only looked at is cards once more, not bothering to do a sigh or anything in order to have the other players thinking he had a good hand.

"I raise 10 more."

Grimm tossed 15 more into the pot and now the raabbit next could either match, raise, fold, etc.

Leaf wasn't good at concealing his emotion at poker, so his mouth briefly twitched into a little grin before returning to a stoic look. He called Grimm's bet.

The dealer then set down the 4th card.

4 of Spades.

Abi checked.

Grimm continued eyeing the next card. Hopefully, he would end with a pair and not junk.
