This is a very good DEEP topic.
I think hating someone else because of their race in America or anywhere else is pure stupidity. Some people can be SOOOOO stupid. Hate is a very strong and powerful thing and it's used in so many different ways. I wish it didn't exsist in our world but unfortunately it does. I think if that happens to you...then all you can do is....be strong and JUST KNOW in your heart that they are wrong and weak...and they will truely suffer from God for this....one day.
You should maybe even feel sorry for them....that they live their lives in this way and that they live in a "box."
Beautiful people are everywhere! They come in all shapes, sizes and colors. You can immediately tell who is beautiful.....by talking to them for only 10 minutes. If they are a beautiful person, their soul will shine through and make you smile.
God does not see the color of people's skin. He see's if the heart is good or not. To me that is ALL that's important. |

Being in the Air Force, and having grown up as an Army Brat, I've been around a fair share of different people. I've met people from all over the world and I've encountered many different attitudes. I have to say, I have definitely experienced racism in my life, and I've seen others experience it as well. The thing that amazes me most about racism is the number of people who think there's nothing wrong with it. They don't see it as being racist, they see it as being normal.
It's just strange to me that someone could grow up with a pre-conceived notion about an entire race of people, and actually believe that notion to be true because that's all they know. I've had white people call me nigger (please excuse the language if I offend anyone, but I think in this instance it's warranted to drive my point home) and think absolutely nothing of it because that's just what they've always called black people. To them, it's no different than calling a dog a dog or a cat a cat. You call them that because that's what they are. I've met people who truly believed that black and the "N" word are synonomous.
I hate racism too, but I don't really blame the people I meet who are racist. I blame their upbringing. We are creatures of habit, and we do what we're taught. Someone taught these people to behave this way, and someone told them that this was normal. Not only that, but they DID NOT teach them that there would be consequences for this behavior once they left home. So in essence, the parents have set their children up to fail by teaching them this cycle of hate. And once the child matures, goes into the world, and gets hammered for being racist, the only logical reaction they can have is to say;
"Mom and dad were right. Look at how these people are treating me. I haven't done anything wrong, but they're treating me like I'm a bastard or a monster or something. Man, I'm going to make sure my kids know from the start that they can't trust blacks/hispanics/whites/asians or whatever because they all hated me just for being me."
It's a sad, vicious cycle. |

Alley if everyone shared your views on life and think and believe what you believe this world would be so wonderful a place, just like God intendced when he put Adam and Eve in the Garden of Eden. But alas we must put up with this imperfect place, but it is our place to make it a better world and having you in it goes a long way sweetheart
