Leaf sighed to himself as Rika looked for the mystery woman she thought was nearby. He decided that his action would have to do in order to get his message across. He walked towards until he was directly in front of her. His left paw cupped her chin as he leaned in and gave her a gentle kiss to her lips.

rika kept looking around exepting to see a woman walking towards them but no one was around.

"leaf i dont see anyone......" rika stoped talking as leaf walked upto her and cupped his left hand under her chin.

"leaf what are you doing?........" rika's eyes widened as he kissed her very quickly she backed away from him and grabbed her corset and dress

"leaf have you lost your mind the woman you like could show up any time and you kiss me?"

((dont worry you just shocked her that's all))

(Oh dear... Better do some damage control.)

'Nice one, doofus,' Leaf thought as she grabbed her clothes. 'You better fix this before things get outta hand!'

"Rika, wait! Let me explain!"

He tried to run towards her, but he slipped on the wet grass near the lake and fell into the water. He panicked and started flailing his arms.

'Damn it, I can't swim!'

she watched as he slipped and fell into the water she backed away from him while calling.

"the water is only waist hight stand up leaf" her voice was shacky and she quickly slipped her dress on and begane to walk away quickly.

Leaf's ears perked up from what she said. He felt like an idiot for overreacting. He saw Rika putting her dress on and walking away quickly. He got out as quickly as he could, grabbing his clothes and running after her.

"Rika, hold on a second! Please let me explain!"

rika was on her way to find link but stoped when leaf called.

"i dont no leaf you say there is someone standing there but no one is there then you kiss me? leaf im gonna find link"

she turned away from him and begane walking quickly away

Leaf's mind was jumbled... He had collapsed on the streets with his arms holding himself up in front of him. His clothes had fallen out underneath him. Rika was walking away from him and if he didn't do something quickly, he'd lose her for good. There was only one solution...

He shouted loud enough for her to hear "Rika, the woman I was talking about was you! You're the one I care for!"

His head was bowed down, gazing at the cobblestones.

rika stoped when she heard leaf and slowly turned around and walked back to him

"you like me? leaf how long have you liked me for?"

rika said confused

Leaf's eyes did not lift from the cobblestone street. Her shadow had cast over his form.

"I... I liked you ever since you first came to the bookstore. I wanted to try to know you better, but... Everytime I tried to do so, I managed to screw it up somehow. I'm... I'm sorry about my uncouth behavior towards you..."

rika just looked at leaf and rubbed her ear.

"so thats why you are always nervous around ohh leaf i..i...didnt know you liked me that way but i...i..im not.... intrested in a relatioship at this time ohhh leaf im so sorry"

rika looked away from leaf andd rubbed her ear very hard.

He got on his feet and grabbed his clothes off the ground. His eyes were still looking downward. "Rika, I hope this doesn't... make things awkward for us."

rika just coudnt look at leaf she felt really awakard not about him likeing her but at something else.

"no it wont make things awarkard between us but leaf im so sorry but i know link's your best friend but i...i.. ohh leaf i want link im so sorry...."

she felt tears appering in her eyes but she woudnt let leaf see

The rabbit's eyes glanced up towards Rika. He didn't want to see her so upset...

He gently placed his clothes on the ground once more and walked over to her. "Hey, come on now... Please don't be upset."

rika wiped her tears away and looked at leaf.

"im sorry leaf but i just dont feel that im ready for a relationship yet but let's go and get some lunch and talk about this"

"You're right... I guess I rushed things a bit."

He looked at himself, seeing that he was only in his underwear. Several passerbys were giving him odd looks. Embarrassed, he quickly put on his clothes. After straightening the buttons of his vest, he dusted himself off.

"So, um... where shall we go?"

rika looked around and pionted to a little cafe just down the road and softly smiled at leaf.

"ummm how about there so we can talk about this i need to think about this"

rika said still smileing she did like leaf but she wasnt sure about a relationship with him.

((just to let ya know im gonna be away from the 3rd of august to the 8th of august on a road trip with my mates to clebrate my 21 birthday witch is the 7th whoooo blackpool here i come))

Leaf turned his head towards the small cafe. "Um... Yes, that's fine. Shall we?"

He wondered what would happen between the two of them in the future.

Leaf had been looking over the decor of the cafe, noting that it was the first time he ever been in the place. He saw Rika waving him over at a table near the window and took a seat in front of her.

"You know, I never been in this place before. Did it open recently or...?"

she waited for him to sit down and looked at him not smileing anymore.

"oh no it's been here a while it's just a quite place that me and well link found"

she said quitly before looking at him "leaf what is it you like about me?"

Leaf quietly replied, "Well... for starters, it's your optimistic personality that I like. As I said before, you somehow have a knack of making even rather sour individuals smile."

He paused to choose his next words carefully. "To be honest, I don't view myself favorably. There were moments when I doubted myself, but... when you are around, I felt like I could do anything."

rika begane to nervosly rub her ear and looked at leaf with a soft smile "i see but for makeing people smile iv'e all ways been able to do that"

rika picked up the menu and begane reading it quitly before looking at leaf again "leaf dont say that you manged to open your shop just fine without me.
