Well, after a month of trying my wife is finally pregnant. What a fantastic day today is. 9 Months seems like far to long to wait, but I'm excited all the same. Anyways, enough about me. Anyone else have, or will be having children? Or do you never want them? |

Well, it was a 9 hour shift at work, the 2 hours in bed with her, every day, for a month. So yes, im actually very exhausted. But thank you all the same. |

Congrats. Its a lovely thing to have a child that you cherish. For me, I have alot of work with school, work, family issues, and personal preference to not have one. I don't intend to have a child till I'm in a more stable lifestyle, better job, have a house and all the necessities. |

My dad did'nt raise no fools, though I wish I could say the same thing about my sister lol, since she already had a child at 20. She's in the coast guard like I was, so she has the financial disposition. |

Congrats. Just be careful not to get too over excited. I don't want to burst your bubble, but 9 months is a big gap for things to go wrong. But still, great thing to be happy about. |

If I'm not mistaken, it's actually 10 months. Think I remember hearing that somewhere before.
Anywho, congrats to you. My wife and I would like to have kids one day, but at present we feel we need some more stability in our lives before trying to throw a baby into the mix. |

a normal pregnancy is 40 weeks long if a month was exactly 4 weeks long then it would be 10 months gestation but since most months are between 4-5 weeks it gets knocked to 9 months |

Then there's the first pregnancy which tends to want to stay in the mummy instead of come out when it's time to. |
