Rhoda had just found the blanket when Alexandra sat on her head. She looked up at the right angle to put her nose just inside the foxes folds. Thomas watched the ladies leave and quietly followed them. He sat by the wall near the door and listened. He licked his lips at the sounds they were making and wished he could join them but was going to give them space. He wasn’t going to be rude and just walk in on them. So he just sat there and listened and hoped they didn’t realize he was there.

Rhoda kissed Thomas back and looked him in the eyes, about to kiss him again as but was interupted by a loud thud. She quickly ran back into the room and pulled Thomas along with her. She went over to Alexandra and helped her back onto the bed.

Thomas nearly lost his balance but quickly righted himself. Once Rhoda helped Alexandra back onto the bed he sat down beside her and gently put his hand on her shoulder.
