Just made it to captain yesterday and halfway to getting to grade 1

I'm half way to Major from Captain 3rd Grade.

And have finally run into a challenge I cannot complete.

How in the name of fuck am I supposed to complete an entire campaign mission on legendary without dying when I can't even get 10 metres away from the blasted start point without dying?

Sucking at this game sucks.

Uh, yeah, it would. There's a lot of factors to count in as well. Commendations, the campaign, Challenges, amount of multiplayer matches played.

Playing things other than Infection also helps, considering you get about 3 times the amount of credit off a Slayer match to what Infection gives. try giving the zombies a rest, Mayfield.

I actually play firefight most of the time. It gives me 1,000 credits on average per round.

Yeah... you don't play for 10-12 hours... per day. There's your problem.

I do play alot, but playing the game often, while commendations help too, but each gametype (Firefight, Multiplayer, Multiplayer) has its own set of commendations. I tend to focus quite a bit on firefight. I'm just a couple hundred kills with my grenade launcher to recieve an Onyx commendation (I don't know how many credits it would award).

Onyx? What's that after? Highest I have is Silver, but I've been more balanced with my gaming. I figured there'd be a gold after Silver, possibly a Platinum, but I don't really know.

So far, commendations go in the following:

-Nothing
-Iron
-Bronze
-Silver
-Gold
-Onyx

I'm not sure if there is a platinum, but I believe onyx to be a final tier in the lineup. I got it in the firefight 'Get Loud', meaning I got nearly 4000 kills with heavy weapons. My weapon of choice: Grenade launcher.

Target Locater kicks ass. Considering it technically doesn't fire, it's the best weapon in the game, imho.

Is it my imagination, or has the number of players playing Reach online suddenly plummeted. Or is there some event of some kind, that I am unaware of, drawing people away.

Seriously, I'm looking at the numbers at it's saying there are only 147 players online. It's been like this for a bit over a day now, maybe more.

Hmm. Maybe it got annoying. They were having problems with the servers a lot over the last couple of days. Maybe people have gone away for a few days to let Bungie fix the problems.

Still, kind of a downer when you want to play Rumble Pit and you're the only fucking person there.

I did kinda find Reach to be a downer. They took off Duel wielding, they took away some weapons to replace another, my favorite vehicle was taken away (The chopper), and the Falcon no longer supports 5 people as intended. The maps look too similar to that of the campaign, and Forge World is puny in comparison to what we are lead to believe. Overall, the game is ok, but it could have been better. Bungie got overconfident and I think its going to cost them.

Duel wielding was fine. It had its finer points and drawbacks. It never seemed cheap to me.

is it just me or is it really laggy on halo cuase i keep elastic banding. and also

this is set before the other halos so this is like a prequil ro the other halos hench why the other wepons or vhircals are not on it.. well thats what i think

It's actually the direct prequel to the first Halo. Cause at the end of the game, the pillar of autumn is heading to a halo and that's the start of the first game.
