I have had to take it to the repair center today, and when they opened it up they found a big puddle of liquid so they are drying it out. But they said that they doubt very much i will get the computer back working by tomorrow.
The laptop that had the drink spilt on it, was the computer i had all my webcam software on

Ah you must have had a good night out, as she leaves today ...
However a shame you spoiled your drink 
(wonder what you were showing Jacki that caused you to spoil your drink  )
Anyway I hope your laptop survived the drink-attack and it will function happy as ever again

Thanks Bennie, i hope it works again too!
It was actually Jacki's Corona Beer that spilt on it. And she was telling me about a video, called fresh sushi So i looked it up The Japs do some messed up things |

hahaa...... ok, reading Marcus reply, using the word eels, I know what movie it is. I have seen it going round the internet for some time now, I think I've seen it 2 years ago already. I am in an email club. We sent eachother fun movies most of the time, but also some sick shit now and then. The club is called VMC (for the Dutch people out there...Vieze Mannen Club)... well.... translates into Dirty Mens Club...
I have seen more sickening stuff from Japs...... involving puke.....and some girls..... in a bath tub. |

Wow Martina that is a lot of money, sorry to hear that !!!!! 
When I opened this topic I had no idea so much damage was done ..
You can pull 10 teeth for that amount,
You even culd buy a new one or ?

Beer is nasty stuff! I know this since when I play gigs many times people put beer on or next to my effect pedals and amps. Plus lots of times this goes wrong  .
I don't even want to calculate how much money this already has cost me...plus most people don't really understand if you get upset. *sigh*
Oh well...you're supposed to drink beer. |

Thanks Bennie, You know a burger and a bear always cheers me up!
I bought a new desktop today which im on now. I love it! I can even watch tv from this PC, record tv shows and tune in to radio via the PC's aerial
I spent the day going from one computer store to the other and this Gateway seemed like the best thing for me |

I lost everything that was on that PC. Nothing i didnt have copies of though. But now i have to download all my cam software again which will be a pain

I have never liked Beer, now i will like it even less. That was one expensive Corona, and it wasnt even mine |

You made a quick decision ..Anyway much cheaper then repairing the damaged one and you got nice new features !
Glad it workes ok, and ..no more beer white wine only

| Yes im so loving this desktop. I have to take my other laptop to get repaired today, as it keeps turning itself off, as the fan isnt working properly and overheats! Atleast this one is covered by the warranty, and should be easy to repair. |
