Pachs had been painting landscapes for decades and ever sense he had painted Rhoda he has wanted to find someone else willing to pose for his paintings. Nothing like what most in this city would have painted but something that was more artistic and beautiful in nature and presentation...But finding someone like that in this town was rare.

He had put out a large number of fliers asking for woman to pose for his paintings; there where dozens that came to pose for him but none of them had what he was looking for and he had to turn them away...He hoped soon he would be able to find one that fit.

((Hope this is a good idea...Pachs is like Da Vinci in that he is a Polymath ))

Jane came walking by, not to interested in the man sitting on the patio. Humming to herself quietly, while still spinning around every here and now. Smiling and letting her veil and hair fly about.

Pachs looked up and saw the Vixen walking down the road and it struke him at the same time. The light was perfect and he saw her veil around her with the light streaming through it as she spun and he was struk by her looks and he knew she was the woman he had been looking for to paint...He needed to ask her before she left.

He stood up from the chair and walked down to the bottom of the steps and he watched her for a few more seconds.

Pachs: Excuse me....Ma'am...

His home was fairly small for a man of his size but it was tall; it had a 30ft tower like structure in the middle which had three small windmills on it that spun slowly in the wind and there was a large water wheel spinning on the side of his house and the river could be heard softly.

The Vixen then stopping in the rode. Turned and smiled, her Jade green eyes dazzling like burning lights in the sun. While her Pink dress simply twirled and fluttered in the wind. Then looking up at him she smiled shyly, noticing how big he was. He towered over her at a surprisingly great amount. Then looking at his face she smiled again.

"Yes, may I help you."

He saw her eyes and for a half a second could not speak and was amazed at how beautifully green they where.

Pachs: I know this may be a odd request....but seeing you I feel that you would be perfect as a subject for my next painting....And I was wondering if you would be willing to pose for me...

He was well dressed in a large deep Grey suit and jacket that "even for its size" looked expertly made. He smiled at her as he waited to see if she would simply say no or hopefully yes...or at worst run down the road to get away from him.

Jane smiled,

"Sure, I don't really mind."

Jane said walking up to him. Which as she did, her head was at a 90 degree angle just trying to see his face. Backing up, she smiled.

"So where's your studio"

He gave her a small smile seeing how she had looked up at him and put up his arm in the direction of his house behind him.

Pachs: Right here....everything I do is inside...Painting, Inventing, Things like that...Anything that I like...Do you wish to come inside and have a look.

He really hoped he did not seem like the odd old man he was probably twice her age and he was asking her to come into his house...he felt a little weird at what she might be thinking but he didn't plan on doing anything; he was a good person and he hoped she saw that.

He walked up to his door and opened it...because of the brightness of the day and the little light that was inside it was hard to see. But from what could be seen there was a large number of bookshelves full top to bottom.

Jane simply smiled and followed. A smile across her face, she just seemed to sway back and forth as she walked. Twirling around and enjoying herself greatly. She didn't really care that the guy was older than her. She knew he had good intentions. Then as she walked up his stairs. She looked at the designs on the pillars that held up the patio roof.

"Nice"

Then walking forward again. She walked up behind Pach's.

"I never did get your name"

Pachs: Oh....my apologies Ma'am...

He bent down in a small bow.

Pachs: My name is Pachs Gajah....It's a pleasure to meet you...may I ask your name as well?

He held the door for her to enter and the shadow of the patio let her see inside better and it seemed that every wall that she could see was lined with books and the table in the middle of the room there where countless numbers of papers and diagrams..and even a few small mechanical items.

Jane smiled, and curtsied.

"Jane... Jane Molly a pleasure to meet you as well."

Then looking up she saw the huge library. Her big green eyes then suddenly turned wide and big. She almost instantly ran inside and began looking at all the books. Twirling around trying to see all the books. She loved reading.

He gave a chuckle seeing how she reacted to seeing all his books he walked in and closed the door. The books seemed to be of nearly every topic from Poetry, Fiction...All the way to advanced Manuel's of Engineering, Chemistry, Rocketry...Act...

Pachs: My...from your reaction I'm guessing you like books...

The soft sound of his large grandfather clock in the corner was the loudest sound...the other was the creaking of the water wheel that could be seen spinning out the large bay window he had. There was a painting stand there that had a landscape of the city skyline. It was amazingly detailed all the way down to the potted plants on a woman's window. the painting seemed to jump out at however looked at it; it was Pachs particular style because of the thicker paints he used.

Jane turned and filled her basket up with many books. Almost to absorbed in them to hear anything else. As her dress glided across the floor, she turned and faced him. Then seeing the painting she walked over.Smiling she clasped her hands together in delight.

"My... you are very talented."

He saw her look at the painting and smiled.

Pachs: Thank you...I have been painting for over 30 years....But its always been a secondary hobby compared to my true work.

She looked up happily,

"What's your true work."

Pachs: That is upstairs...

He points to a stone spiral stairwell that is in the corner of the room that leads up.

Pachs: Do you want to see it...it maybe a little odd; but I've been working on a rocket propelled vehicle that could hopefully take a fur to the moon and back safely.

Jane then spun around like a bottle top.

"LIKE JULES VERNE...."

Then smiling shyly she looked back at him.

"May I see it."

He chuckled happily that she had known about such a thing. He walked over to the bookshelf and pulled out "From the Earth to the Moon" By Jules Verne and smiled looking at it and handed it to her.

Pachs: I read it and I knew that with my training I could create such a device....follow me...

He motioned for her to follow him as he walked tot he stairs and made his way up them.

Jane happily smiled, and picked up the book. Flipping through the pages reading them. With a happy grin on her face, she read the book as she proceeded up the stairs.

((Everyone usually asks to see it; but only a few have. And one of Mayfields Fursona's "Rhoda" actually helps me with it))

He walked up the stairs seeing she was following and opened a door at the top and walked inside. He held the door for her and there stood in the middle of the room was a 20ft tall cylinder of steel. There where countless numbers of bolts and weld lines that crossed its shinning surface. There where four large fins at the bottom that held it up and the large top was pointed like a needle.

There were large oil stains on the wood floor and many tools on the tables that circled the room. The ceiling was a large glass window that let in the bright light of the day and would serve as a way for the Rocket to exit the room when it took off.

Jane stood in awe at the huge rocket. Putting the book in her basket, she walked up to it, and put her hands on the rocket. Smiling she looked around it, and inspected it.

"My my you area busy elephant. This thing will probably be a lifetime of hard work and determination. Very few people have such a drive."

Jane turned and smiled at Pach's. Jane's tiny body greatly dwarfed by the huge cylinder of steel.

((Oh actually you and Dorian are the only ones to make that connection. But its not really where I got the idea from; Pachs is from a d20 Modern game set in the distant future..."Basically D&D in the future" and he was a Master Scientist))

Pachs: I've had to stop working on it over the years do to lack of funds...but because of my eidetic memory I've won well over what I would hopefully need to finish it...but I don't know when that will be...

He looked at her and saw how she had looked at the Rocket.

Pachs: But...um...I'm sorry to say this but....if you wish to borrow those books I will let you....but only one at a time...I am vary careful with my collection...Some of the ones I see in your basket are actual first prints...and worth over a thousand florins...

"Oh I can;t take your books.... it's a habit... I see books, then I think Library, then I got books in my basket."

Jane said happily, the only reason why Jane liked the rocket was because she had never seen a rocket. It was truly quite impressive for a farm girl.

((haha...oddly enough Pachs was raised on a Farm as well))

Pachs: It's OK...you can borrow one as long as you promise to return it when your done...and take good care of it..

He looked down at her watching her facial expressions when she answered. He had studied Psychology and Sociobiology and had learned to tell almost perfectly if a fur was lying..."one of the other reasons for his expert Poker skills".

He followed her down the stairs and closed the door as he did.

Pachs: It's fine...I've lent my books before...I'm sure that sense your going to pose for me we will get to know each other better...so its fine..

When they made it down the stairs he smiled at how she hugged the book.

Pachs: Its good to see someone else that loves reading as much as me. I've read everyone of the books in here and I can line by line remember each and everyone of them...A Elephant never forgets...

He laughed at this phrase and moved over to his work table and sat at the chair there.

Then putting down her basket, she smiled.

"So where shall I sit."

Pachs: The Elephant Child...yes; its a childhood story my mother told me...

He motions to a large comfortable looking cushioned chair that was next to the fireplace he had.

Pachs: I need time to think how I will have you pose...so for now we can relax and talk...if you don't mind?
