don't you have to put the (c) sign and year in there?
would be nicer if you can put the letters over the background.
Plus I have seen people steal picture and the just trim the border to get rid of the text. So best pu it in a tactical position that makes it difficult to trim it off. I don't mind seeing text in your pictures. Do you have software to stamp pictures automatically? |

The (C) sign is a US thing. In the UK copyright is automatic. Don't know about the rest of the world I agree that the logo needs to be placed so it would spoil the picture if somebody came along and cropped the photo. A watermark would be even better, but that would prehaps be too distracting. |

Its doesnt really matter too much about the (c) and the year, as i done some research on others. A friend made the design for me, and im not sure if im able to cut it out easily?
The design he made in full image is this
I cut the Penthouse Pet of the Year bit off though, as when i resized this logo you couldnt read it anyway
Also im not worried to much about people being able to trim the copyright off, as most people have it in that place, and it would be a lot of work if they had to do that to every pic.
Yes i use thumbs plus which automatically adds the logo to each picture |

Martina,
I think it is a good idea to protect your nice and high quality pictures !
Most sites put their site on it.
I just had a look and it does not bother me.
Satch made as usual some good comments I think, sepecialy about the background and the text.
And yes I do hope you have a stamp
Edit:
I just saw you had specially designed it ..cool ! |

Oh ok well good thing your mark your pictures. I think the logo looks good, but since you downsized it the letter have pixel errors now.
the m for instance. hmmm I would think just a plain not resized text would be sufficient. Don't mean to be overcritical just trying to give good suggenstions. |

You only have to resize or ?
If it is done in Photoshop and you stil lhave the PSD then it would be easy, assuming te original is high resolution.
Or are you thinking about a new design ?
It should then have the same font/colr as your website has mainly
Most logo's for protecting are just the name in some special font I think |

No I dont have the psd for the logo, just the gif. I will see if my friend who made it has the psd file for it. Im resizing the gif which is probably why im losing quality
I dont mind a new design for the logo though |

Yes true resizing a gif file with fonts means trouble I once read.
I think about something nice and simple
Any fonts/colors you prefer ?
If I have something acceptable I let you know |

This actually would work great, as there is no background on this logo. Just wonder if i can add .com |

I can't edit the layer set because i only have Elements, but that should do fine. I just wanted to copy the W from your site.
I'll get started on it ... |

Yes that would be an idea. Can you reduce the logo without losing too much detail and then add ".com" in Arial or something as a separate layer, then flatten it. |

File/Save for Web
Then select file type "Gif"
It needs a bit more work though. For some reason when you do this there is a white background around the word "martina". Maybe you just need to recreate this layer. |

Do you like this design? I think imagecave has sized it down. Since my original one looks better!
I can mail it if you like it or want different colours!
Does your tool support gif 89a transparency Martina? |

Nice. I can fool around in photoshop at work for a while. But isn't it a drag to put the logo pic over every pic of yours?? Than you have to rework every pic in photoshop, and save it as a jpg and stuff like that. But I am no wizard (yet). |

It is ..that is why Martina uses a stamp-tool for that (Thumbs plus I think she mentioned)
She just wants/needs a good/nice logo protection pic |

Ah your tools supports transparency!
Uh to be honest the logo over your belly doesn't do much good to the picture . Maybe I made a terrible sugestion.
Would be nice to just have a transparent logo in the corner. That's how most websites do it! |
