What weapons did you use most the game?

I used the Plasma cutter for most of the general enemies, Line gun for the Lurkers, Detonators for the Seekers, and the Ripper when I only have one or two Leapers around as I mix in the statis. Remember to use stasis often and use the kinesis on whatever enemies you kill like the Slashers so you preserve ammo, and always keep a few med-packs handy because you will most certainly need them.

The enemies early on should be easy enough with a single shot of your gun, and hit the arm if you can so you can use its arm to impale it. I know that its easier to hit their legs out from under them, but if they are alone, just stasify them and use its own body parts against them.

Hm, i wasnt sure of the ripper cause it kinda failed me at tough parts in the first dead space.

And the detonator, What is that thing actually?

(my build was usually the plasma cutter, plasma gun, line gun, and force gun)

The Ripper is pretty efficient in removing the body parts quickly. The only downside I can think of is that it is loud.

the detanator is baisckly like a granade launcher for it's main primary fire andthen can lay down mines.

The detonator is pretty good too for one shotting various necromorphs.

dragonfly would take out the brutes with the detonatoras i think it took only 2-3 shot's to kill them

but he says the flame thrower is the worst gun but the gun he had most fun with i think was the javilne gun as he liked shootig them in the head with it LOL

as for me my fav gun was the ripper

Hey Lily...did you forget about poor old me? *grin* And I did try to play Dead Space the other day....didn't get that far before I gave it back to my friend...you people have some seriously high tolerances for scary stuff

Flame thrower is fun as hell though if i didnt care about dieing. Also for brutes, force gun kills them in 4 shots.

Believe me Haz, after all the scary movies and games I've played, nothing really scares me that much anymore. I used to be terrified of Aliens and Resident evil, but now they are among my favorite movies and games.

draonfly has no fear of horro games or movies the first time he payed dead space and one of those necromorpes jumped out a window and ripped his head of he jut laughed

as for me im not really found of zombies but thanks to dragonfly and his deep love of well..... killing them i don mind them anymore

hehe i rember the first time i saw o of them laying on the floor as if it was dead then it jumped up when i got near to it X_X

i screamd so loud that dragon droped his coffe in his lap and yes it was scolding hot

LOL

of corse we laugh about it now but everyrtime one of them dose that i always jump an dragon makes sure no coffe is near HEHE

Holy hell... I just finished Hardcore, only using the plasma cutter. X_X I had saved right before the crypt, right after the jump and on the save before the eye poke machine. Chapters 7-13 in one run without dying... I could hear my heartbeat as loudly as Isaac's. X_X

The only parts im worried about is when your flying through debree. Not so easy.

Yeah, just imagine if you managed to play through on hardcore without saving once. On the single playthrough, you get to the end and... you don't grab Ellie's hand. XD
