The only boardgame I can think of that has an axe was in Zumanji. |

I seem to recall there WAS a tabletop zombie game where you would play either the survivors or the zombie horde and the interior of the mall you were stuck in was interchangeble ...I think...I never got a chance to play it so I am not quite sure what the name of it was. |

Hazzy, you're talking about "Maul of America" I think.
Anyway, such games like "Zombies!!!", including all it's sequel parodies... and "Humans!!!". Also games like "All Things Zombie" as well. There's also "Last Night on Earth".
Anyway, point being, there are a ton of beer-and-pretzel zombie boardgames.
And the "fire axe" is from the "Zombies!!!" series.)) |

They actully made a Doom 3 board game that kinda funny
i forgot what the name of this board is but you get nice detailed
monster pawns to choose and many others to buy like zombies to killer clowns and horror monsters like Dracula and Freddy.
