Martina likes both guys and dolls, so it doesn't matter to her. |

Here's a link to a video of an eight year old guitar virtuoso playing his guitar for about 3mins 25secs:
|
What he is playing is parts of a song called Y.R.O. (Yngwie Rip Off) of the band Racer X.
It's mainly based on the 3 note per string trick.
Cool he can play it at such a young age, but it doesn't mean he knows what is played or can apply it to his own music.
I saw Yngwie a couple of weeks ago. |

I have two live Yngwie Malmsteen concert videos on dvd; “Yngwie Malmsteen Live!!” and “The Yngwie Malmsteen Collection.” They’re both really good.
That kid in the video is also playing Paul Gilbert’s guitar solo called “Frenzy” off of Racer X’s Street Lethal album.

Oh oops you're right I have that album, but it is ages ago since I listened to that. Paul Gilberts new work is much better. It's just a silly 80's shred album. The new RacerX albums are much better.
There is a RacerX show on DVD called 'Snowball of Doom'.
Unfortunately Yngiwe's best live DVD was only released in Japan.
It is called "Concerto Suite For Electric Guitar And Orchestra In E Flat Minor"
Yngwie is also on the latest G3 DVD. He faints compared to Joe Satriani and Steve Vai since they are way more versatile players.
Unfortunately you have to miss Steve Vai's newest composition for guitar and orchestra called The Aching Hunger Part II.
It is played here in Holland on 1st and 2nd of July.
http://www.vai.com/News/tourdates.html
I saw the first part last year in Paradiso Amsterdam.
It was amazing!
Has anyone you ever taken you to a date to a concert Martina? Uh are you still there reading? |

I saw the first G3 concert video with Eric Johnson, Vai and Satriani and I didn’t really think it was that great. Their individual concert videos are way better. My favorite Eric Johnson songs are all the ones where he’s singing on.
I haven’t seen “Snowball of Doom” yet, but I’d like to see it. Have you seen Paul Gilbert's “Eleven Thousand Notes” concert dvd? That’s another one that I’d like to see. You can get it at cduniverse.com. I went to a Mr. Big concert once when they were on tour for their second album. |

My favourite video of Eric Johnson is where he played Cliffs Of Dover at Austin City Limits.
I have "Eleven Thousand Notes". It has some silly videos and recording of I think a Korean gig of the flying dog tour.
Paul is also good with Photoshop Bennie!

Yep great idea ...we just shop her in a pic where she does not belong ..on first view:-)
Most of the fun of shopping is the searching for the right pictures to merge.
Real merging is not easy btw
Most of the time you find and them uintended
...Trying to find a band to shop Martina in ..LOL |

ROFL
Photoshoping his own head into those TV show pics. Waaaharrrrharrr !!!
Good idea though maybe we can do some for Martina. Bennie is right the hard bit is finding the right picture. I just find that frustrating. I think Gilbert took a shortcut and took the pics of himself to suit the pics he found ... just a guess
My fave ... Barbara Eden still looks hot

Hi Satch
Here it is:
If you are in the internt explorer (or Firefox) ..just right click on the pic and choose copy .(afbeelding) kopieren.
Then in Photoshop choose new ..it automaticly suggests the right size accept ..and do paste (control-v)
If you have already a psd open in Photoshop then you just can do control-V and it will be in a new layer then.
So basicly via the clipboard in the easiest ! |
