the dobeman suddnly tapped his gun againt graces shack and gave the tabby a annoyed stare

"who cares about th hyhena i just want to find that son of a bitch murder everytime we get a lead on him he escapes us rose i wont let him get away again"

the tabby shock her head and looked at grace "im sorry about ryan he has a hatred for this cheetah....... well if you see him please inform us ma'am"

as she looked at ryan the doberman suddnly headid strait towards the bush witch link was hideing in

the doberman stoped near the bush and raised his gun up a little "of corse we knowwho that psyco was he took over a bloodthirsty gang called the howlers two years ago had a lot of trouble trying to get to him"

the tabby sighed and looked at grace "you see we where close to arresteing demyx but the man called link took him out before we could arresst him......."

ryan suddnly growled and moved away from the bush link was in 'COME rose he is not here you ma'am if you see this mudering scum bag tell us right away good bye

as the two left the bush rustled and a bleedin link struggled his way out with fear still in his eyes and his eyes faceing the ground

"why.......why......did you protect me for grace i dont understand?" link was confused on why grace protected him after he broke her heart

the king cheetah slumped into a chair at the table in the shack and placed hishead on the table with his eyes closed

link snapped angrily before raiseing from his chair and haedid towards the shack door before stoping and walking back to grace

"i nealy forgot you gave this to me a quouple adays before i vanised for three years i keept that safe and only cared about seeing ya to return it but know i see there was no point"

the cheetah geabbed graces hand and shoved a old but still perfect condtion hat in her hand before turning away from her and leaveing the shack

near the clearing link was about to leave before he heard grace his brian tolod him to just ignore her and turn him self into the officers but his feet stoped and woudnt move

link stoped just hearing grace's words and thought to him self about what his choise's where

then sighing link only know what he wanted and if it cost him everything it was worth this one last thing

hurrying back link saw grace nearing the shelter and he grabbed her arm spinning her round

"grace i dont care if ya hate me after this i dont care if ya set the police on me but............"

link just did what his heart was telling him and picked up grace and kissed her

Grace was a little startled and was about to drive her fist into Link's face but something stopped her. She didn't know if it was Deja vu or just her memory but what was happening reminded her of their first kiss. She closed her eyes and kissed back, slowly starting to cry.

link had closed his eyes waiting for a punch a kick but nothing come then suddnly his brain clicked and he dropped grace on the floor looking at her with fear

"i........i.........im...sorry" backing away from her link turned round and was about to free while his tail brused againt graces hands

Grace's hand gripped the cheetah's tail tightly, not letting go for anything. She was staring at the ground as she held her grip.

as link was gonna flee he let out a yelp as grace grsabbed his tail makeing his escpape plan impossibble

link looked at grace and slowly knelt down in front of her "ya dont want me to leave?"

link slowly gulped and pulled grace into a hug and sighed

"ok grace i swear i wont leave ya alone again"

just holding grace again bought a wave of happiness over the feline as he thoght grace might of moved on after 3 years
