yeah i tried it in this size and for some reason it doesn't bother me as much (didn't think to check the post after i made it *facepalms*) when i tried it the first time it was full screen image, but it's still kind of weird at least

((For those of you who want to know, the girl in the picture is Lain from "Serial Experiements: Lain". It used to be a liscenced title from Pioneer Animation... which became Geoneon... when then went out of business. Though you might still be able to find "Lain". ))

Interesting, I've never even heard of that anime before. Too bad Geneon went out of business. THey had awesome anime in their time. Most of which was ahead of their generation. Like Neon Genesis Evangelion, which I think they got their name from.

Quite a few anime companies have collapsed these lase few years. I was surprised to see that ADV films had folded in 2008.

Mostly action or comedy or the occasional drama, more over id prefer something with a good plot.

Try Vandread. Its basically builds on the 'Men are from Mars, Women are from Venus' idea. Basically women and men became separated during a time in their travels in space and began to fight with one another. Well, you can find it on the funimation channel on youtube.

Magic Knight RayEarth seaons 1 and 2, High Fantasy swords-and-sorcery adventure from CLAMP

Justice League Unlimited, an American entry, but still solid animation and adventure story

Cowboy Beebop, crime-drama-adventure of the near-future

Robotech... I'm not even going to say way. Robotech gets the Chuck Norris "Thumbs Up" of approval

Princess 9, sports-drama about nine girls who are trying to make it big in the Japanese Baseball circut.

To Heart, high-school-drama about first loves and growing up

Utena, high-school-drama adventure of a new girl who refuses to fit into the "norm"

Batman, another American animation. Go for the WB animation-studio one... not the "THE BATMAN" reboot. Solid noir-style drama of one of the best superheros... EVAR. Also gets the "Chuck Norris Thumbs Up"

Perfect Blue, suspense-drama... its very Hitchcockian in how it tells a story
