Stopping a moment nearby carriage Alex looks up to the driver, "Excuse me sir," he says politely, "But would you mind giving that rabbit a ride home."

The young rabbit looks over at Jean, "sure, the fee is 15 florins."

Reaching into the pouch in his pocket he pulls out some coins, "20 florins should be enough," placing the coins in the rabbits hand, "Thank you."

As the rabbit cracks the reins to get the horse moving, Alex looks up the road and notices Vedo and Carmilla are a ways down the road, so he begins to jog to catch up.

He turned his thoughts inwards, pulling a small blade free, spinning it in his hands and through his fingers. He put a little space between himself and the other two, allowing them a chance to chat in private.

nah it's just i've been busy with some family stuff and keep forgetting to get him caught up))

Finally catching up to Carmilla, Alex notices that Vedo has picked up his pace but only slightly.

Reaching up to scratch his ear he realizes the bandage is missing, massaging it slightly he relaxes realizing it's healed up, as there is no pain.

"So Carmilla," Alex says without taking his eyes off Vedoril so that don't lose him, "How long have you been in Bon Bon?"

"Um.....a few months. What about you, Vedoril?". The curiosity was nagging at her to ask.

He heard the question and smiled, turning to face the two, while still walking backwards, his pace not slowing at all. "About a month actually. Been busy with work, so haven't done much exploring." He spun the blade into the air, then turned to face forward, not looking at the blade. As it fell back down he caught the blade between thumb and forefinger, then let it slide back into place in its scabbard behind his neck.

"A month," the words practicly erupted from his mouth, "and you already have a mansion!"

"I've only been here a few hours, painted a window, made a few friends," rubbing his cheek feeling the dried blood on his fur, "and got into a fight with a bunch of drunks."

"Well....that's Bon Bon for you. Just about anything can happen!". Just as she finished her sentence, an audible thump was heard to the right of the group and just as they passed a stagecoach, it was visible how two lovers began to do thv act of love. All quite visible to the public as well. "Just like that, I believe..."

"Well it belongs to my family, so it's not surprising." He approached a gate, unlocking it, and opening it for the two. "Trust me, I was surprised that my family had anything here. Please come in, the garden is just a little ways in. I'll go get the cooks to start something to eat."

Alex eyes the mansion quickly, then his eyes catch the garden turning in it's direction he walks around glancing from side to side til he notices a large tree with a low hanging branch.

"Excuse me." he says politely to Carmilla as he heads for the tree.

Stopping at the base of the tree he quickly removes his jacket, then reaches down unclasping the sword from his belt laying it gently on the coat, then removing his shoes setting them in the grass next to it.

Adjusting the bag on his shoulder he quickly jumps up finding footholds others might normally miss, til he reaches the branch and sits down straddling the limb.

Reaching into his bag he pulls out a small piece of wood with clamps on each corner, a brush, a small red jar, and a small piece of paper, taking the paper he carefully clamps it to the board, then sits quietly tapping the brush on his nose.

"Heritage? Pretty big.". The corsac fox stood there to watch the mansion in awe. Certainly not used to being invited to large buildings as these.

When Alexander darted off into the garden section and began to quietly climb the tree, all she could do was tilt her head in curiosity. "What are you doing?"

He smiled, quietly slipping inside, giving the cooks orders to cook some soups and prepare sandwiches and salads. He went to a cupboard, pulling out an orange, then walked back to the doorway. He leaned against the frame of the door, peeling the orange, watching the sky slowly darkening.

Alex stares forward still for a moment before he slowly turns his head towards Carmilla.

"Oh sorry," he says quickly, "I enjoy climbing trees, i have since i was young."

Removing the lid to the jar in his hand he dips the brush into it, "Besides something caught my attention in that window on my way up here," placing the brush against the paper he fluidly begins to draw something.

Without looking away from the paper, "since we're waiting on the food anyway," stopping only a moment from his painting, "Would you like to join me up here?"

"Didn't know you were an artist.". Just as she answered this, she began to wander some more around the garden, looking around in silence and staring at anything that caught her attention. "No thanks, I'm fine down here.". She answered back with a smile.

Seconds later, she was too busy staring at some flowers that she hadn't noticed where the owner of said garden was. "Hmm? Where's Vedoril?".

"That's a good question," Alex says as he continues to effortlessly weave his arm working on an image only his eyes could see, "maybe the kitchen is really far in or something."

Dipping the brush once again into the jar, he continues to paint, but slower and more carefully, working on a very detailed part.

Vedooril finished the orange off, then grabbed a small chain from inside a drawer. As he stepped back into the garden he called out, "Alex, catch." He tossed the chain to Alex, then began to peel another orange. "That should replace your broken chain."

Alex Catches the chain barely moving his eyes to look.

Looking over it carefully he smiles, "Thanks Vedoril, it'll work perfect."

Quickly placing the chain into his pants pocket he makes a few more strokes on the paper then placing the brush into the bottle.

Leaning back against the tree now he points to a large painting of a vase hanging on the wall in the window nearest his tree, in the painting the vase is sitting on a table, with several different types of flowers in it, and a pair of white gloves sitting in front of it, "Do you collect paintings or are they mostly there for decoration?"

Vedooril smiled, "Personal collection. 'Demon's Vase' is the name of the one you say. If you were closer to it, you'd see the flowers drawing life from the tormented souls worked into the vase. Personal....interest, in demons." He finished peeling the orange in his hands, slowly eating a slice, as he sat down, leaning his back against the tree.

"Well than someone's altered it," Alex says looking down at Vedoril, "because any artist can tell their work."

Turning his head back to the window, "That's a priceless vase i broke, it belonged to my mother," as he stares at it blankly, "that painting was the first my parents sold, was to some old man, i believe he payed 100 thousand for it."

"Although," turning his head back to Vedoril, "I believe it was more of a payment, i heard my parents mention something about money they loaned him."

Scratching his head slowly Alex looks down to Vedoril, "You see on that table leg," he says, "There is a small symbol there."

Removing the bag from his shoulder and hanging it from a nearby limb Alex flips over sideways dangling from the tree by his legs balancing himself with his tail.

Reaching his arm out he offers the small board with the painting, "tell me if this looks familiar to you," on the paper is a picture of a white wolf sitting with it's tail across it's chest and the tail has a black tip.

"Mr. Alex, I apologize, but I have other things on my mind than a particular painting. I shall be inside, helping the cooks. Why don't you come down from your perch and some time with our lovely guest. For if you won't, then I will offer her a tour of the manse, and bring her back out at her request." He smiled, hoping that Alex would catch the hint that he was giving.

his eyes widened quickly.

Alex quickly flipped his foot up catching the strap on his bag flinging it into the air, then as he let his legs loose he grabbed the bottle with the brush in it with his tail.

Spinning quickly he landed on his feet catching the bag neatly with his hand as it came down next to him.

"I do apolgize Vedoril," he says with great embarassment in his voice as he bowed deeply, "I meant no harm, it's just the first time i've seen one of my paintings on display anywhere."
