Which do you prefer, the one that doesn't explaine anything (Pokemon), or the one that does (Digimon)?

I've always been a huge fan of digimon, i own all the episodes from season 1 to season 4.

I love all of Digimon, Season 5 was hard to swallow for me, but I can't wait for Season 6 to be dubbed!

mines Metalgarurumon from season 1
followed closely by Weregarurumon.

I liked season 1 most, and though it was kind of weird season 2 would be second favorite because it still involved season 1 characters, can't decide with 3 and 4 which i like more, season 5 at the very very back, and 6 i need to see more to actually make up my mind

In terms of games, they haven't made a decent digimon game in a while, and pokemon is just getting a little redundant.

but i still enjoy watching the digimon shows because i enjoy watching anime.

If they just made at least one anniversary game that connected all the worlds and you chose your region of origin, that would be awesome in Pokemon. Like, you could choose to be from the Kanto, then go across that world and beat all the old gym leaders that apply, go to the Indigo Plateau, and defeat the Elite, Four, then head to each subsequent region till you do the same with each region. That and collecting Pokemon native to those regions. That game would have massive replay value and would be a treat to old fans like me.

I just wish they did'nt focus so much on the 3D idea. the old sprite animations were ok, but not needed and it seems to be the full focus lately.

thats very true, they just keep going in the wrong direction.

doesn't makes sense they add new pokemon that are evolutions of other pokemon that already existed, and come up with some weird excuse on why it wasn't there before.

for example eevee, was originally vaporeon flareon and jolteon, then they add umbreon and espeon, which evolve depending on whether it's day or night when they level up with high friendship, so does that mean no one before that had ever treated an eevee right, then they go and add leafeon and glaceon, leafeon should have been there to begin with and just use a leaf stone not "fight next to this mossy rock to evolve"

sorry, thats one of my biggest complaints when it comes to pokemon, because i liked using vaporeon

I tried sending Pokemon ideas to the company, but they just ignored them. Pokemon never listen to their fan, whilst Mario and Sonic does, with the same going for Digimon.

Pokemon has been making the anime and movies that should die already, Ash would never be a Pokemon Master, Brock had completely lost it when changing his dream from Pokemon Breeder to Pokemon Docter, the female side characters are just annoying, and Team Rocket should be target dummies for Team Fortress 2. The stories are messed up big style, the only thing that is shown are the Pokemon as advertisement to the Pokemon games.

Digimon on the otherhand has it's good moments, why next year or so, they're going to release a game called Digimon World Red and Blue, and an anime called Digimon Fusion Battles.

season 3 was my fave

where takato and guilmon will always be my fave team

but i think my fave digimon will be metalgreymon and wargrowlmon but i was dissapointed in guilmon's mega form

i would have preferd him to be like a full armord dragon with a caonon blaster on his arm where is other arm is a blade

and maybe he could have a secound from where he had a huge cannon on his back

sort of like how the dna fusion form of exveemon and stingmon in season two had

But at least Digimon has a story, whilst Pokemon is just like what the Nostalgia Critic described Space Jam, a commercial for a commercial!

I liked digimon and Pokemon as a kid but kinda stopped watching it after awhile the shows got to repetitive. One show I really liked was Yugioh.
