I'm glad I did'nt invest in alot of armor tanking skills. I just found out the Minmataurs are shield tankser since their weapons don't use their capacitor and they have a massive capacitor. That and the fact that Mins are the fastest race in terms of velocity and agility.

Hey, it was my first character and I went with Calidari. I thought about it for a time while mining since they were neutral, and I wanted to do alot of projectile fighting, so I opted to use Minmataurs.

BAH!!!

went to the store after i got paid to pick up a copy of EVE...

and they are sold out and no idea when they'll get more looks like i'll need to order online.

and i never said i wouldn't play EVE, just got distracted from buying it when i was looking into TOR, which doesn't even have a release date or even began beta testing, so it'll be a long time before i can even play it 2012 if lucky.

nah it's just got more to do with trying to figure which site to order it from, and how much it'll cost, since copy at the store was on sale for $10

Well, if you need help with anything, just let me know and I will help you with some of the basics. Believe me, its very overwhelming and it does'nt exactly sport the best tutorial.

A tutorial is only good if the player can benefit from it. Eve's does not.

You don't simply respawn in this game. If your skill level exceeds the amount your clone can handle, the character will remain alive, but you will lose the excess points.

Needless to say I had to upgrade my clone recently. It could hold up to 12mil skill points. Now it can hold up to 25mil. I usually go through about 1.5-2 mil a month.

Well, updating now on my character. I've been pulling together my probing skills.

Astrometrics: V
Astrometric Pinpointing: IV
Astrometric Rangefinding: IV
Astrometric Acquisition: IV

I'll be able to use a series of probes to find hidden locations in a given system. Some are GED complexes where you can destroy several enemies and find useful equipment, or havens where you and a fleet can take on several ships of various sizes. These are dungeon-like in nature, and best done in groups.

Mmmhmm, I am just doing my part. I am doing alot to make sure I get all my skills up to snuff. Probing atm is my priority to find DED complexes so I can get good faction equipment.
