“Yes or no” Dr. Frederick Merrick sneered, looking to his travelling companion, his face grimacing and looking away from Dr. Merrick. It was quite apparent the fox could not stand Merrick’s presence considering the doctor had been prying the entire journey. The fox could hardly wait for Merrick to get off the carriage. “Well?” Merrick said with a more eager tone of voice than before. The fox looked to him and felt uneasy, he did not feel like dispelling such matters to the doctor, mainly because he found him so irritating. “No” the fox said with as affirmative a voice as he could muster, at this point he made brief eye contact with Merrick who was intensely glaring right back at him. “Pity,” replied the doctor, his face unchanging. “Although I would not have thought a man such as you had oodles to share anyway… judging from your expression once I asked your name.” The fox tried to ignore Dr. Merrick. “Can’t recall? And you’re not heading to Bon Bon if I am correct, which is peculiar when you’re looking for somewhere that won’t care about your name…” The fox looked quickly to Merrick and then away again. “Well I might be going to Bon Bon…” he stated barely audibly although this did not stop Merrick from responding quickly, “Oh I think not, you’re clearly irritated by my company, I can see it in the way you move about. But more so you looked so relieved once I told you I was heading to Bon Bon, you felt relieved because you are headed to the town after Bon Bon.” The fox simply looked away and crossed his arms. “My answer is still no; I won’t tell you my name.” The doctor looked to the fox’s luggage; he had not mentioned to him that he could see his name stencilled on one brief case clearly from where he was sitting.
The carriage was entering Bon Bon at this point; it slowed down as it neared the edge of the town. “Your name must really be important to you, more important than my curiosity incidentally. I do not mind however, but I must be off.” Merrick picked up his bag and left the carriage, looking in one last time. “Have a pleasant trip, Thomas.” The fox’s ears perked and he looked quite quickly to the doctor, Thomas seemed flabbergasted. Merrick waved to him as the carriage took off for its next destination.
As entertained as that had kept Merrick, it was also pointless. He felt slightly revolted at this, but soon withdrew it from his mind.
He had already purchased a small building for his work and overseen the décor of the Interior, in no way was he unprepared for this visit. he had been referred by many of his colleagues to Bon Bon, which he felt inclined to at least attempt to work there as a way of experiencing it's special kind of privacy, Of course, that wan't the only reason he came to the town, he also wanted something more. Something no one in the right mind would want to give him.
Now was the time for Dr. Merrick to make his way to the building, but he felt inclined to dander around the centre of the town, to get his bearings and also because he was expecting someone to be there. |

alexandra was in one of her more conseling dresses. she was waiting in the room when she herd there was some one coming to help those with trubbled pasts. her son got her this appointment she though it was not nessicary but she thought this was some one whos job it is to listen. she was looking at the door waiting for the doctor to come. she had come very early and has been waiting for a few hours. "oh dear why did i agreee to this. for i know he might just set this up for a quick florin." she figgited with her large white tail. her dress was a cream color there was nothing erotic about it unless you liked how it was hiding every thing. |

The town center was particularly busy today, patrons walking and moving in all directions as horse drawn carriages and automobiles weaved through the traffic of furs. From supplies to touriss these carried and some people even seemed lost in the thick of it. On one particular sidewalk, one that still seemed crowded of people, was a wolf that continued to scan the crowd periodically. His business suit did not seem befitting of his slightly small body, but it seemed adequate for business, as what the suit was made for.
Women walked around in the exotic and erotic dresses, while men could not contain themselves to watch all around in uncontained excitement. This was Bon Bon, the town of pleasure. Sadly enough, Wolf stuck out like a sore thumb, mostly because he did not move from where he stood, one hand in his pocket and the other dangling freely. He looked like he was patiently waiting for someone. |

Frederick walked with an uneasily steady pace and firm movement, it almost was like he thought about every step, he looked around periodically as he walked, searching for someone. After a minute or two he stopped and dipped his hand into his pocket, retrieving his watch. He would be late for opening his office to any clients if his advertisements made a few days ago had already been sent to and distributed around the town. Then he noticed the wolf, standing with posture the doctor found appealing and yet almost casually. He began to make his way over to him with the same steady pace and firm movement until he reached the same side walk as the wolf.
After politely moving through the many women of the town he came within a suitable distance to the wolf so as to speak clearly to him. No doubt the wolf had noticed him by now. "Mr. Stride. A true star shining brightly in a dark sky" said Merrick, hinting at how well Wolf was able to stand out. He noted that he had been carrying his watch still, but he never glanced at it in his hand, still stretched out as if he were still looking at it. Closing it and putting it back in his pocket, he extended his now free hand to shake the wolf's. |

The crowd still moved back and forth, like the tide of the sea. It's flurry of colors could be considered blinding, or even beauty in itself. Suddenly, there was movement in the crowd. The tide pulled and pushed about, before a greyhound emerged from it's numerous wake. How he spoke, how he directed himself towards the wolf. The only way he could describe this greyhound was "professional".
"I do believe there are other stars that shine more brightly than I do. Let me be the first to welcome you to Bon Bon, if no one has had the pleasure of doing so Dr. Frederick.". An outstretched and gloveless paw of his own shook firmly the greyhound's. His cynical and stern expression was still in place. Wolf couldn't help but wonder what would the good Doctor's first impression of him would be. |

(Greyhound? Alsation suits his breed more lol)
After they shook hands the doctor placed his hand behind his back. reflecting silently for a moment on Wolf's response. "Very well put, humble, yet not forgetting your own true worth. Do forgive me, I somewhat misplaced your own title, you are after all a doctor yourself." Frederick smiled, not taking his eyes off Wolf. "I hope my presence in this town does not disrupt your plans too much, you must be a busy man." Merrick continued to stare coldly at Wolf, yet his facial expression would seem to be that of happiness, Merrick's eyes seemed dead. |

(( Seems like I did a mistake. Need me to edit? ))
[color=darkblue]Two cold expressions meeting dead on in the straight of day. They seemed very much alike in certain ways. Wolf slowly shook his head with the same expression on his face and looked back at the street. "No need to worry. Bon Bon is quite healthy most of the time, aside from the sudden illnesses and occassional accident. It actually is quite good to have so much free time on my hands.". His eyes went back to Frederick's, the same Cynical expression still. "And of course having another man that is recognized by the medical board helps as well. Believe it or not, Bon Bon is lightly lacking in people as yourself.".
The wind blew again, dresses flying high, men whistling at the views and the tree's rustling like the ocean roars. Again did Wolf divert his eyes. "Ah, but where are my manners? I believe I am holding you from some other important business.". His tone seemed to lighten up some. It was hard to say why./color] |

(Nah, s'all good)
"I would imagine a town with such rules as it has would make it difficult for any psychiatrist to truly spread his proverbial wings to fly. But the challenge makes it all the more appealing." As the wind blew the second time and the men whistled, Frederick made it a point for him to look to the side, not to look but to listen. "I arranged for my office to be in business today, for all I know there is someone knocking on the door with a naughty look in their eye, begging to tell me all about it." It almost sounded like Merrick and Wolf were two teachers discussing the bad children, the mention of Merrick's work did however arouse emotion out of him, he half squinted and smiled. "You do have my contact information? I assume you looked them up for reference?" |

"Well, that is Bon Bon for you. People are curious, some are strange and almost all are sexually driven. You get accoustomed to any prying eyes after. Besides, you'd become the Vault of the secrets of many patrons.". As Wolf went on about his semi ramble, the doctor posed another question. Wolf's expression changed completely, a smile on his face even. "Of course. Also, I wanted to mention something else. Have you heard of the Doctor Kyle Stingray?". A little off topic, but Wolf couldn't help it. He'd almost forgotten if Ffederick hadn't mentioned the word reference. |

"I recall his name from the list I compiled before arriving, his credentials are impressive... Though I doubt very much I will be learning anything from him." His remark was condescending, yet emboldened with a false sense of cautiousness. |

"Perhaps another day I shall have the... privilege to meet him." Merrick noted Wolf's movements and smirked. "Yes, all good things come to an end I suppose. I must be off to check in to my office." |

"Curious considering your qualifications, I would assume you would be used to dressing this way." Merrick smiled and broke eye contact, staring vacantly beyond Wolf. "I suppose if the town does not require your services as often as other places like you said, you'd have the time to..." He ceased to smile and looked Wolf in the eyes again. "... make money by other means, However that may be is none of my concern however. Do forgive me." |

"double lives... though I suppose we all still have our secrets. Nevertheless, I think it best I head for my office. Seeing you here was quite enjoyable, Wolf." Frederick thought for a moment on what Wolf had said, and smiled, the kind of smile you would give someone if they told you a joke that wasn't funny. |

"My time is never wasted Mr Stride, I assure you." Dr. Merrick smiled and nodded to him, it seemed more of a compliment to himself, he liked talking to even the most repulsive of people, as long as it presented an opportunity to get inside their heads. And Wolf proved quite interesting from this mere conversation. With that said he took out his pocket watch and noted the time, "It was a pleasure." |

Dr. Merrick stood still and watched Wolf walk away and into the crowd, he nodded slightly to him as Wolf waved, still Frederick had hiss watch in his hand, it was almost as if he was forcing himself to make this a habit, but he slowly placed the watch back in his pocket and turned. He turned to look down the street, to get his bearings. With another gaze to the opposite street he began walking at his usual steady pace.
Dr. Frederick Merrick was heading to his office now, throughout his conversation with Wolf he was noting to himself that it was most likely that on this first day that he may have a new client or two who may want an appointment for counselling or perhaps an examination or a test. As he made his way to the office he never moved his gaze from the direction he was heading, even as he passed all the lovely girls on the street. His office was situated next to a small home he had begun to rent once he purchased the office. Once Merrick arrived he looked through the door, it appeared someone was inside and resting on a chair inside the small corridor. Merrick was irritated, the interior decorators must have forgotten to lock the main door before leaving, but luckily there was nothing of real value in the hallway, and the door inside it to his office was locked.
Merrick opened the door and entered before closing it shut, he approached the chair and gazed at the fox curled up and asleep in it. It was also an Arctic fox, a beautiful Arctic fox, with frosty a blue head of hair and in a cream dress. Dr. Merrick noted her appearance in her head with great detail, it may help him unlock something about her personality later.
After pausing to look at her he set his case down on the ground and loudly and firmly he spoke to her. "Excuse me madam, do you have a session?" He waited to see if that would wake her up before continuing. "I am Doctor Frederick Merrick." |

"so you are the doctor." she looked at him her eyes my have been open but her vission was blurry a little. she took out a pair of glasses to fouces on the doctor. she held out her hand. "my name is alexandra v harston." |

Merrick watched her every move, but was always careful to maintain eye contact whenever she looked at him, he smiled and took her hand. "It is a pleasure," he kissed her hand politely and straightened up. "Well, if you have an appointment now, please come into my office and we can get started." Dr. Merrick turned slowly, almost creepily, and fished a key from inside his coat pocket, he unlocked the door to the office and peered into it.
He observed the room, inside was one window with crimson curtains, the walls were panelled with wood that was freshly painted. The rich mahogany floor boards were partly concealed with a circular dark green carpet in the centre of the room. There was a wall completely covered by a large book case, with so many books to last a life time. Many of the books were all to do with psychology and the anatomy of the body and structure of the brain, but many were also works of fiction. There was a globe of the earth next to a couch for the clients to lie on, as well as a desk with a vase (Which contained no flowers at the moment) and a lamp. Across from this couch was an armchair, presumably for Merrick to sit in whilst counselling his clients. Dr. Merrick did not like calling them patients. As well as these there was also a desk in the room in front of the window, it had nothing on it seeing as Merrick had only arrived from having all his things moved into this office. Whilst he peered into the room examining all the things he said to Alex "Would that be a Miss or Mrs Alexandra V. Harston?"
After he said this he stood outside the open door, inviting Alex to come in. |

As Alex took a seat Dr. Merrick walked over to his own chair after closing the door. He did not sit down yet. First he retrieved a small note book and then sat down. "First of all Alex, before we start I must tell you that you have my fullest sincerity. Also, nothing you tell me will be shared outside this room, You have my word that I will keep everything confidential." He smiled and opened his book, taking a pen out from his jacket and smiling.
"So tell me Alexandra, Why are you here?" |

Dr. Merrick leaned back in his chair and his face became cold and unemotional. "Very well Alexandra, I will ask and you will answer." He looked to her and smiled slightly. "Tell me about your childhood, specifically, memories. Bad memories. What is your worst memory of your childhood?" |

"bad memories. well i dont recall any of real sad ness other then i one time broke my grandmother necklace. but my best friend took the blame willingly i guess i wish i could have taken the blame for that." she seemed to get a little sadder recalling her past. "i think i was 15 when i pushed over by some one and i hurt my head. but thats nothing really." she was being honest then she looked to the doctor. "i am ammazed you havent asked my age first. question for you doctor. how old do you think i am." she wanted to know if the doctor could see past her seemingly ageless body traped in her young 20s. |

"Quid pro que? Very well, You ask me and I'll ask you and so on." Dr. Merrick leaned forward in his chair and smirked, looking her in the eyes and staying still in his place. "Your body is healthy and youthful, Judging from that I would say you were young, only stepping into your twenties." he slumped back against his chair. "However, your dress tells a different story. It is dull and of a singular solid colour, much too out of style for a young woman of this decade. And the way you look when you think of the past, it seems far gone to you. Yes, childhood is not merely a decade from your current age." He then picked up his book and cleared his throat, getting ready to jot down her response.
"In addition, you said you were widowed, if you were widowed at an age of, say, 18, 19 or 20 I would assume that you would still be wearing black if you were as young as you look, or perhaps react more harshly when you told me you were widowed. Because of those things I would say you're in between your late thirties to early forties." |
