Three men killed last night when group of worshippers leaving a mosque after evening prayers confronted men in a car who had stopped in front of the group and shouted "Oi, where's all the looting at!?"
Angry words were exchanged and the driver drove the car in to the group of worshippers killing three of them and then drove off.
It is unknown if the men it the car thought the group were part of the riot.
Some arrests have been made during the riots, but frankly a nice little cell with a telly, a toilet and three square meals a day is too damn good for them.
They should be rounded up placed on a island in the Orkneys and told to fend for themselves for two years. After that if any are left then they can be returned to civilization. |

There is a novel and a BBC drama entitled 'The Nightmare man' which uses such a premise:

The novel is much better.
In truth I was thinking more of the island of Gruinard in the Inner Hebrides off the west coast of Scotland. Where Bio-Weapon tests were carried out in 1942 by the British Government. The use of Anthrax on the island meant it was uninhabitable until decontamination procedures requiring the removal and burning of the top soil was started in the late 1980's.
It was not until 2007 that the island was declared fit for human habitation once more. |

It would seem to be over, for the moment, though 16,000 police officers on the streets of London alone probably has some thing to do with it.
We will just have to wait until the weekend to see if it flares up again.
A twelve year old boy and an eleven year old girl appeared in courts in London and Birmingham charged with looting and criminal damage. The girl merely 'smirked' when asked to apologize.
We have had no trouble where I live so far. |

You can have 1500 of them, that is the total of arrests so far!
If you are interested in bio-weapons, you may have heard of Unit 731, a Japanese bio and chemical weapons research camp set up in mainland China during WWII. Chinese, Koreans, Pacific Islanders and European/ American POW's were used for experiments with Bubonic plague, cholera and anthrax.
As many as 580,000 people were believed to have been experimented on and killed at Unit 731. |
