((I still find one of the best things about Fallout: New Vegas, is Mr. New Vegas himself. He's... so late-night-smooth-radio-talker.

And how can you go wrong with Veronica? I mean, she's got some of the best conversation comments... EVAR!

Case-and-point, I'm getting loaded down with rockets and mines and grenades and all manner of stuff that's worth a ton of bottlecaps. And, I find out that your partner can carry stuff too... so I open up Veronica's inventory, and while I'm at the inventory screen she say's, "You're going to make me carry the heavy stuff, aren't you?" And... it was weird. As just seconds before that I was thinking, "Hey, I can make Veronica carry the heavy stuff, since Ed can't."

Um... yeah, my sense of humor found that weirdly funny when it first happened.

And, how can you not like Ed? Other than the fact he just... floats off sometimes to... whereever the sun takes him, he's like the coolest flying-robo-thingy! And his music-commmentary is awesome! ))

and i thought it was cool how they got Mr. Las Vegas, Wayne Newton to voice Mr. New Vegas

My favorite character has to be Veronica she funny as hell not to mention some "one liners" she has. One of my favs is when you ask her how she joined the Brotherhood of Steel and her response is "More sexual favors that I can count and im still sore" that just made me laugh my arse off.

I also think ED-E is cool I mean who doesn't what an eyebot companion that travels with you wherever you go, offers storage space for your stuff and occasionally lights people of fire with his zapper.

even though he's about as talkative as a wet sponge most of the time i like using boone, mostly because i hate the legion, and boone will shoot any legionaires he spots even if they like you.

I believe the last planned DLC fo NV came out a couple of months ago. Lonesome Road I think it was. But don't quote me, I'm not sure.

There are four, if memory serves:

- Easy Money--> Follow some simple rules, and make some easy money
- Lonesome Road--> Finally meet the Puppeteer
- Old World Blues--> Go to Big Mountain in Montana
- Honest Hearts--> Find out what happened to the Burning Man

I think there are two equipment expansion too:

- Couriers Stash
- Gun Runner's Encampment

I think Bethesda might do what they did last time, and make a GoTY edition, that has all the expansions on CD. ))

Okay I have all of those DLC's except for Lonesome Road.

I hope Bethesda does that it would save me a lot of time if my Xbox-360 ever breaks.

Already beat the DLCs and planning to finish the game for good. Still, a personal favorite weapon of mine is something like a 10mm Submachine Gun.

Then again, C-4 is good too.

...as odd as it sounds, I kinda like the laser-rifle. Sure, it did crap for damage; however, I like to have a ton of action points, and the laser rifle let you shoot like... five or six times during each VATS event. ))

Caroline, ever tried switching up to that Thompson variant of the Laser Rifle? It did better damage and was a damn fine Laser MG for the latter part of the game.

I'll stick with my trusty YMC-475 though. If not, then I'll keep my Sniper Rifle.

I usually arrange my weapons into kits. I have stander weapons set. Which usally consist of weapons. These were muti-role weapons and such. Then a C.Q.B set that i use when indoor or im confined spaces. Usually weapons like shot guns or smg's and melee weapons. Then special weapons that are meant for specific threats such as heavy weapons, explosives, or even weopons that meant to be stealthy. Just depends on the situation for me. Though i use guns and energy weapons both, but i always find myself using the Q-35 Plasma Modulator more than any other weopon. It doesn't use as much ammo since it takes one point rather that two to fire and it has a faster rate of fire than the standard plasma rifle.

Can't say I do use that. I kinda like how the laser weaponry looks/works... so I stuck with that. I did super-mod my laser rifle with the beam splitter, scope, and something else that I can't remember.

Besides, iffn the laser doesn't zorch it, I just bring in my 250kg gorilla known as Veronica... though I doubt Veronica would like being called a gorilla. ))

Anyone here familiar with the Nexus?? It's a modding community that does mods specifically for Fallout. Me and a friend of mine in RL are currently working one a unique DLC. I won't revile the story just yet since were still working on it, but we have added the ability to mod armor. Such as a bandoleer can allow for faster reloads, or armor plates that can be added to increase DT, and several others.

Not really since there is technically no ammo limit, though I was thinking it could reduce ammo weight by 10% in hardcore mode.
