"Me wound be alright for a while. I need ta rest first. To groggy from the scrap." He tried to give her a wide smile, but was stopped by the pain of his cheek wound.

"When should I go to him?" Félicette read the information to herself to help her remember it, then tucked the paper under her brassiere, having nowhere else to put it. "And are you sure you will be okay for the moment? That looks awfully nasty."

"Aye lass, I be alright for a bit." He left the box open on the counter, turning and slowly walking towards his hammock. "Ye should go see 'im round midday. He be a lazy basterd who be grumpier than an old badger ma durin da winter." He made it to the wall near his hammock, and leaned with his back against the wall. "Make sure ye wear a golden feather in yer hat ta shows yer wit me."

Félicette nodded and then sighed, dreading being in the company of such a grumpy man, but she nodded and went back to the bed. "I'll make sure."

Marl looked up at her and chuckled quietly at her sigh. "He ain't all bad lass. Jus cert'in things wind 'im up more'n others." He picked up a poetry book, opening to a particular point in it, and letting his eyes roam over the pages, his head slowly falling to his chest.

Félicette noted to herself that Marl was more than capable of continuing with his night as if nothing had happened to him, so she shrugged it off and climbed back into the bed. She closed her eyes and tried to get back to sleep.

Marl fell asleep reading his book, only to awaken hours later due to the wound throbbing. He grimaced as his head reeled, taking a swig from his jug, as he looked out the window. "Still a bit early for the meetin, but I s'pose I should wake the lass." He stood slowly, stretched his arms and his legs, stifling his yawn. He noticed he was still wearing the dirty clothes from the night's activities, so he stripped, walking into the bathroom. "First I need ta bathe the stink away and make me fur shine." He began to run the hot water, smiling as he thought of how his crewmates and friends teased him for always bathing. He walked in front of the mirror, checking the bandages on his face to ensure that they were still firmly in place.

Félicette yawned and sat up again, she watched as Marl went into the bathroom and then she looked to the window, it looked early enough to get up so she decided to get out of bed. Sitting up she stretched and then picked up her dress from the bottom of the bed. After a while struggling to put it on she looked around and then to the bathroom door.

She sat back on the bed and picked up her boots, "Marl? Are you taking a bath? Will you be long?" She began sliding her heel boots on and laced them up.

"Aye lass. Too much foreign debris in me fur. Its a nuisance to have to find it all, especially the pieces on me back." He continued combing his fur, slowly getting all the debris out of it. "Did ya need ta take one lass, or do you jus need in the bathroom?"

Félicette rubbed the back of her head and ran her fingers through her hair, even though she had slept in it she managed to keep it clean. After all she was a cat. "Not at this moment, I just need to freshen up."

Marl drapped a towel over the tub, covering his midsection. "Alright lass, I be partially decent. Come in and do yur business. Then off with ye to the meeting." Marl went back to focusing on pulling the pieces of bark and dirt from his hair, as he waited for her to come in and do what she needed to do.

Félicette walked in and chuckled a bit at Marl who was trying to hide some of himself away from her as she happily strived towards the sink, looking in the mirror she sighed and noticed that as clean as she managed to keep her hair it was still very tangled and knotted. Picking up a brush she began running it through it slowly, avoiding pulling too hard. "Am I going to the address alone Marl?"

Marl smiled as he finished with his hair, running his hands through his fur, happy at not finding any more foreign debris. "Are ye askin me on a date Felicette?" He stood, knocking the towel to the floor as he turned his back to her, stepping behind a screen that hid him from view, as he toweled his hair and fur dry.

She smirked and rolled her eyes at his remark. "Taking a date with me to meet an old grumpy man is not exactly ideal to me. I was wondering if there would be anyone else." She set the comb down and began playing with some stray locks that fell behind her ears, curling them around her finger and unravelling them again. "If you want a date, buy me a drink some time." She made it a point not to turn around because she could clearly see him in the mirror anyway until he moved behind a screen.

He chuckled as he dropped the towel, shaking the extra water from his fur. "A date in a crowded bar or a date in a nice restaurant? Either way, a date with just alcohol is always good." He looked over his fur, making sure none was sticking out of place.

"Hey, you choose! I'm sure as hell not asking you anywhere." She cackled at how silly that sounded, after she was done with her hair she turned around and looked to the screen where she could see Marl's silhouette.

Marl clutched at his heart and fained pain, "Your words be a bit harsh dear Felicette." He sreached down, picking up a pair of pants, the tips showing below the screen, revealing they were a shimmering green. He pulled them on, wrapping a golden sash around his waist. He stepped out from behind the screen, his fur shining slightly now that it was clean his tail swishing happily behind himself. "Am I not to yer liking lass?" he asked with a smile, as he headed towards the sink, where he set his own comb back down.

Marl chuckled as he walked away from the sink, "Well that's good to know lass." He walked back near his hammock, picking out a dark blue shirt that had a slight shine to it, pulling it on over his head, then tucking it loosely into the sash. "Aye, I will be accompaning you to the meeting location, but yer ta handle the meeting yerself. I'll only step in if it gets dangerous." He began pulling on his weapons belts, tieing one beneath the sash, and the other diagonally over one shoulder.

Félicette left the bathroom and looked to Marl, she rolled her eyes at the sight of his weapons having a deep disliking of them but she figured in his line of work he would need some of them... Which created unease in her to think of getting even remotely involved. "Well, I'm ready when you are then."

He grabbed a cloak patterend with blue and green, examining himself in the mirror, nodding at the outfit. "Flashy and matching, thats the way to go." He grabbed his hat, running his knuckles along the bone strands, making them clunk together in an odd sounding music, straightened the feather, then pulled it onto his head. He pulled another feather out of his sack, handing it to her. "No yer not lassie. Fix that inta yer hair, otherwise ye be in danger from the start." He grabbed his ale jug, tying it to his sash and pants. "Now I be ready."

"Right ye are lass. Les be on our way." He went to the door, walking out, holding it open with his boot. "It be a bit of a trek to find the place, but it be worth it." He chuckled, receiving a few glares from the castle staff. Lowering his voice, he muttered, "Damn rules, making me stifle me laughter."

Marl let the door shut, then locked it, depositing the key into an inner coat pocket. "Well then let's be on our way lass." He walked to stair s, hopped onto the handrail, and slid down the banister, landing safely at the bottom of the stairs, then ducking a passing waitresses swipe at his head. "Les try an have some fun along the way, eh."
