Like how things are going. It's just a matter of time to find out how the situation turns.
Several already said this, but clearly Red doesn't want to marry or mate Mary at all. He was born out of money, worked his family name into money, and is now playing the game to try and insure that it stays there. He just didn't plan on having to do things to Mary that he didn't want.
I do still expect to see the William/Mary and Red/Betty hookup down the line... WAY down the line, but still. I think when William starts to man up and gain a little experience, both he and Betty are gonna conspire to get what they want. Once William matures a bit and understands the big picture (which he's quickly learning already), the field will change dramatically. |
