Frederick smiled as she bumped his shoulder again, they continued to walk to the park until it was in sight, the area was surrounded by trees and grass, with mountains in the distance and a small lake shimmering from the sunlight.

Jessica smiled warmly as she took in the sight of the park, the mountains and the lake reflecting the light made her gasp with surprise.

"It's so beautiful here!" she said almost slack jawed looking around.

"Indeed, quite the sight. It will be even better when the sun starts to go down." Frederick walked with her on the path.

Jessica leaned against Frederick as they walked her eyes focusing on the lake, "I can't wait to see it."

"Okay," Jessica says looking around for an empty bench, finally spotting one a good distance down the path, "there's one!"

Frederick approached the bench after a short walk and sat down in it with a sigh. He looked around and sniffed the air which had become sightly colder since they left his office.

"Very desolate indeed, I suppose most people will be in the town late tonight for entertainment as always. Pity this place is seen by so few on this night."

Jessica nods sitting on the bench next to Frederick, "I agree," scooting up next to him she layed her head on his shouler with a content look on her face.

"So what would you like to know?" she says softly looking over the hills and lake spread out before them.

"I don't really know. I want to ask something I wouldn't during counselling. Something mundane... Perhaps you could tell me how you spend your days?"

Merrick looked down at her as she laid her head on his shoulder, he did not mind and looked onward to the lake.

"Most days i sit at home," she responds quietly, "sometimes i do enjoy going on strolls through town, although that usually ends with me at the market."

Drawing in a long breath the cool air tickling her nose she giggles softly.

"What do you do at home?" Merrick asked.

"Organize my walk in closet, take long baths, practice dancing in my ball room," she says quietly as she grabs his hand holding it, "I take naps on particularly cool days."

"With a schedule like that I can hardly tell if you work too much or practically do nothing all day." Frederick looked down and noticed she had taken hold of his hand. He didn't do anything but wonder if she realised she was getting rather close to him for being newly minted friends. He then looked to the lake again which was glistening brightly on the horizon as the sun came down.

"Someone with such an inheritance would hardly have to I suppose." Merrick sighed. "For me though, work is my hobby."

Closing her eyes a moment as she yawns.

"Tell me, Miss Sinclair. Do you have any suitors? Is your private life active?" Merrick then shook his head and laughed to himself. "I am sorry if that sounded improper or rude, I sometimes forget that it's not acceptable to ask such things outside of counselling."

"It's fine," Jessica replies.

"And no I don't have any suitors," her voice now with a hint of sadness, "I'm quite lonely most of the time."

Merrick smirked and looked to her. "Now that won't do at all now, will it? A pretty girl such as yourself should hardly even have the time to be alone."

"What do you plan to do later tonight?" Merrick continued to look at her even though the sunlight was beginning to shine through the clouds from down low near the horizon, pouring colours through the sky.

"Nothing really," she says as her face lights up taking in the scene unfolding before them.

"Probably sit at home, maybe take a bath."
