Looking at the Audition Gallery, the one thing that seems overly prevalent in the hope for future updates is a virtual MMORPG based off of Bon Bon. I'm not sure what(if any) progress has been made towards this.

I suppose the first step, in this case would be to figure out what we're limited to based off of rules and regulations of CCBill.

A game could be made with a 3rd party so CCBill can't interfere.

I can't see it ever happening. Some short solo adventure games, sure. Some mini games on the main site, or something that'll allow people to have their fursona interact with some of the cast of the comic even. But not actual MMORPGs. It'd most likely cost too much to make, and the payoff wouldn't be worth it, as there simply wouldn't be enough people playing it.

I'm starting to get inspired a little. Started playing a game called Onverse, which is more or less a social MMORPG, and I think it's a pretty good model for what a Bon Bon MMORPG would be, apart from currency and with the addition of nudity and sex, of course.

As this game is broken up into multiple "lands", it makes me wonder about non-canon lands, such as a 1980's theme, medieval, etc. Of course, it's all highly dependent on development. Personally, I don't think it'd really be too hard to get a volunteer staff of PBB members to work on it as a fan project.

What type of experience would we need if we wanted to help?

Well, I think the most important part of anything would be servers, not sure what kind of arrangement we'd need for that or how many would be required.

Then there would need to be a decision on code for the program.

Then it would be texture artists and 3D modelling, I think.

I suppose the other part to be contributed would be money, but that might be further down the line. At this point, I'd really just like to kind of get a feel for the "doable" factor.

As I mentioned before.

The closest thing we will have is a Virtual Town/Casino, with the new avatar maker profile that represents you.

In which you can visit the areas of the town and play Casino games. We hope to expand the casino to a Multiplayer environment where you sit at the tables with other players and NPCs if there are non around. Build up wealth to purchase items/clothes/vanity to use in the games.

Think Strip Poker games with your own clothes and play strip poker with other players. This is somewhat RPG like. Can then also use your virtual dollars with NPC in VIP rooms.

And hopefully the next step is a Habbo hotel like system that allows you to spend your wealth on decorating your room(chat room), and invite others to your room to RPG/chat.

That's my goal for Bon Bon.

As for billing method, we will do some sort of Microtransaction currency so that the purchase of the content is just simply "virtual currency", so the content itself is simplifed enough for the billing company to understand and not get too much into our business on what they're used for. But we do plan to use a 3rd party billing as well in case people have trouble paying using ccbill.

Sounds like a plan Ronald. I know thetes an animator on FA making a first person "sex hotel" but if you can find a way to make it 1st/3rd person so people can enjoy it as their avatar, that would add an extra layer to it that people could enjoy. Casual games are the big thing this century.

Anything we can do to help? Find animators, code writers, soap box at EA games? XD

I like the idea for this. i wished there woudl if this was created a version of this for non members. were some thigns aren't allwoed to do like certain limitations.

Will they be animated characters? I can see how much more programming it is going to take just for the Royal members alone.

No. The characters will be profile or avatar images. Traveling around the world "initially" will just be a map area click to go to style. Its like a nav map like the map in castle delight but way prettier.

We're envisioning a map that is more like a theme park map. You get the scaled model look and feel. Just not the walk around animation.

When we get to a comfortable level in development and budget, we can expand on the animation style walking like Gaia online or Habbo hotel.

We want functionality more and MMO interaction.

Kiala's costume and her custom avatar was actually a mini test of concept Vanessa is working on for the Avatar Marker and costume changing options. We want to use these costumes later for people to be able to wear. Since there will be alot of work in creating these costume kits, Vanessa is taking the opportunity to kill 2 birds with one stone sort of deal.

Do Avatars in such a way that we can retain the artwork for custom dynamic changes later in the upcoming avatar maker.

The other day, I was thinking of possibly doing a "custom tailor shop" where members could commission Vanassa for specific clothes design. The person who requested it gets exclusive look for a year in that color he chooses. We'll make it available for others as micro transaction purchase just not exactly the same look so that the person who got it is unique for at least a year. Just an idea if somebody wanted to be truely unique.

Our first step right now is getting a new Account Management system in place, where you retain your account.

Make it hook up to the forums as well so that you only login once (for your membership and your forum posting).

And subscribe/unsubscribe as you need to, but still keep the account to login. (just can't access subscribed area of course).

We'll make also alot of things available for those who login (not just the forum posting abililty).
