Oh, right.

If memory serves me right. The plot of the game is a conflict between the Independent States Allied Forces or ISAF against Eruseans. They took control Usea continent after an asteroid hits Usea in 1999. They are able to have air superiority, because of the rail gun station called Stonehenge. You play as a fighter pilot for ISAF named Mobius 1.

Stonehenge mission was wicked. That place was MASSIVE!

And the final mission... the flight through that tunnel was hella fun as well. Always reminded me of the Venom flight from StarFox: Lylat War (64)

Mobius one was also known as the 'Grim Reaper' since he was a pilot whose Ace reputation was on par, if not better, than the Yellow Squadron's. Unfortunately Yellow 5 was fatally shot down during a skirmish when she went up with a damaged plane, and consequently paid for her persistance.

@Rune
That's happens at Stonehenge I think. Yellow Squadron shows up to try an save it but arrive to late. Yellow 5 refuses to retreat and takes on Mobius resulting in her death.

@Silvador

Yes that was place was huge. By far that was most epic mission in the fame besides the tunnel run, and now that you mention it that part reminded me of that mission on Star Fox.

@Everyone what's your favorite planes??

Mine would be F-16,F-15,F-2E, F-22,Mig-29,and the Su-35

It seems most Ace Combat games deal with some form of limitation where you have to fly above or below a certain altitude to avoid some powerful weapon's killzone. Stonehenge being among them. Ace Combat 4 was one of the first games I played for the PS2.
