I did'nt very much care for Number 4 as the controls were almost impossible. I liked the first ones on the PSX and PS2

Xivk is leader of the Xinikas Capitol and that bastard has gone solo all the way to 92 in Team Level. I shall do the impossibru to have him join us. Neutral

Silver and I are now the sole members of G.A. America and we have done some nearly impossibru shit ourselves. Not to mention that we have nearly unlocked all the Ultimate Weapons, except for the Giga Missile.

Are the controls any better than 4? I had a really difficult time adjusting to it especially since you can't adjust it.

Rune, we won't ask you to join any teams just yet. Dragoon, quit trying to convince him in. X( It ain't nice to brainwash Rune with words of fancy. And Silver and I already have all the Ultimate Weapons, Giga Missile included. The game is very much MMO based, so uh... You need a team by default. I suggest you make your own to get a basis for the game as a whole, then decide who's team to join. Dragoon has the Dragoon Squad, Silver and I have G.A. America and Xivk is now part of the Nuclear Knights.

As to the control scheme? It is very much reminiscent of the old Armored Core schemes, seeing as you have the aiming reticle and it is a big change from AC For Answer.

I won't go into multiplayer yet. When I get into the game, I try to play the campaign till I get a good feel for it. Otherwise I would'nt last long against human targets. Is there any multiplayer games that you can play against bots as well?

The way it's set up is there are story missions and order missions.

They are both able to be done solo or with 1 other person.

Then there are the possibly multiplayer options which are invasion missions, they can be you (or a squad) going against bot controlled turrets to take out objectives, occasionally however it can turn into a PvP match but not every time.

The harder one is the conquest section, this is how you take territories or defend them, it's a toss up if you luck out and fight bots but you can also fight other players, or you can do defense missions labeled stronghold missions which are guaranteed to be against players because it's where they are trying to take your territories for themselves.

Yep. Single Player and Multiplayer mixes up fast in itself, seeing as you can hire other people to fight with you on the Story and side missions. Territory Missions are mainly for Team Points and stealing territory, so don't worry yourself with those just yet.

..... Oh ask, Silver. I found out how to unlock the Giga Missile. Target Zodiac No.6 has been found.

So what do you do when you capture these territories? Is it like one big MMO in that regard where its on a worldly scale?

Territory is for making your Team Rating go up. They help when you are focused on getting Team Points an whatnot. ACV is pretty much based on PVP in regards for territories, so you will see a LOT of experienced pilot.

Also, Dragoon. I have 4 territories along with team level 162. Neutral

Ok, I'll get the game this weekend if you can answer one more question. Can you change the control layout? It was the lack of that option in ACIV that really turned me off.

Rune, the control layout can be changed accordingly and believe it or no, the For Answer control scheme was the same as the starting one from the Playstation 2 control's. But yeah, it can be changed.

Dragoon, why not join up with my squad? I play regularly, so Ikeep Territories safe while invading everywhere. Y'all can just dick around with the G.A. American banner. We're just two members after all, Silver and I.

atm my acv is missing... and i like my clan. also how the hell do you reraise the ap rating of trattories.. i lost two becuase i didnt know what to do.. unfortunatly this game dosnt have a manual...

As for AP rating? Either hit up a Territory Stronghold mission and harass low tier teams, or a Winner take All Vonquest Stronghold. Territory rating goes and lowers of it's own accord, sadly.

Please tell me that ammunition is'nt overzealously overpriced. For some reason, I always seem to get more charges from ammunition than I do from the actual reward from the mission and go negative.

Giga missile = overed weapon

And ammo doesnt cost anything, but your mech damage costs alot.

easy way to make money is to used the grind blade on the final boss for like 800k- 1mill becuase the grind blade is one chance one hit kill. but that little fricker likes to move alot.

Erm.... Exudia or Eruxia or whatever that bastard was called, is no fuckin' Armored Core. That thing is a goddamn Orbital Frame (( Zone of the Enders reference FTW! )), with how fast he is and the insanely high health and powerful Thermal Energy blasts.

Dragoon, I personally found it much, much easier to just take two Power specked Zapyatoi Gatlings to his face. Ammo and power make for an easy boss, more so if you use the Gatlings with high power with Power based performance. He has insanely low KE and CE defense ratings and since KE spends less money, it is an obvious win. That aaaaand.... Beating that speedy fucker with a boost charge for the Charge Master Subquest is a real pain.
