I barely even notice who's here or not these days. There's so little going on. I have to admit that my interest in this community is dying. I don't see much that makes me want to be active. Don't feel like starting any threads. Don't really have anything to say. I'm afraid that it won't be long before I join the ranks of the Royals who have left.

Would probably be alright if we had more stable RPers. The few that do still RP come and go like the wind and RPs tend to sink into the realm of Forgotten by the 3rd page... if they're lucky.

True, there are not many rp'ers that stay focused or on here long enough. But I have come in to join. And I'm on here checking in almost constantly. I'm no good at starting rp's but if I could find an interesting one or see one started that would work for me, I'd be all over it. And hi to all I have yet to meet of whose here! I plan to join the ranks of the royals so I want to be as active as possible, but I plan to stay around as long as possible.

Unfortunately I've had way too many ideas that I have proposed in RP form bomb out near instantly. For that very reason, I refuse to start any more RP threads. However, I have no objection to joining someone else's RP.

Once upon a time, RPs were next to meaningless. Now they seem to be the height of what's considered activity. Granted, there aren't a lot of things to dissect with the world of Bon Bon anymore, but it seemed like RPs became the only things anyone felt was worth anything and before long, there were the RP cliques that just were so active in RPs that the pocketed groups united with each other and left the rest of the community feeling left out or neglected, or just without enough time to bother reading all the posts to get to know anyone else. Then of course there's the groups of "gone in a week" members that never leave a lasting impression and in the end, the community became less of a community so much as a disjointed pack of cliques.

At least that's my take on it.

Its not that I dislike RPing. Its just that there is so little time for it in my lifestyle, unlike when I was in Highschool. Back then I had tons of time to think. Now, I just feel so uninspired because when I think about it, my characters in my old stories were dull or cloned off of characters from anime. In all fairness, the reason my avi is a post master is because of my favorite manga at the time involved a dedicated mailman who traversed a hazardous land to make his customers happy. So I filled in the blanks of what kind of job Bon Bon needed and made something similar.
