Well, I have two jobs this upcoming winter, one working 5 hours at a local UPS warehouse as a dock worker, and the other is a local steelworking facility that operates just outside my neighborhood on a privately owned bit of property. Since the guy owns the land, he spends his time on various contracted jobs. My dad knows him and got me a part time job with him as an apprentice. I'm really excited to see what I can do with him. But first, I have to still learn the basics. |

Its been a couple weeks and I apologize for not being around. My laptop battery died completely so I could'nt do anything till the replacement battery came in through the mail. Which you can imagine takes a long time during the winter holiday. Also, my UPS services was terminated since it was only a holiday job and now I am job hunting again. I do still do the steelwork, but until we get more advertising, I'm mostly only able to observe, so I can't get many personal commissions to do much. |

Protect your eyes and your lungs and get a good pair of work shoes. |

I wear those and then some. Goggles, Apron, armlength Gloves, and I've been using my old military boots that have steel point protection. My time is mostly spent observing Mr. Ivarstein, and he does all sorts of work so far. Most he lets me do these days is carry old metal from one bin to the next. |
