How do you make flash?

This was the animated gif:

Inside Photoshop you can make "Animated Gifs" with Image Reader.
Once you are ready with your PSD you select the PSD and go to File --> Edit in Image Ready.

This application starts with an animation with one frame.
You can just duplicate the frame a couple of times and hide the layers you don't want. You can do this per frame. So in my example the burger is hidden in two frames. In total there are three frames, you als can set the time a frame wil be visible, in my example 1.2 and twice 0.8 seconds.

On the net there is, as always, much explanation, for example:
http://www.astahost.com/how-create-animated-gifs-using-ps-and-imageready-t4694.html
http://www.albany.edu/cetl/teaching/how_to/image_ready/imageready_tutorial.html
Oh..and there are many, many dedicated tools to make "animations", but I am not familiar in that field.

This explanation is very short as it took me "some" time before it was clear how to use Image Ready to make basic animations...

Ok ..Nice ..make your own flashwork (by Photoshop)
Although it was a bit tricky the first time I made one, as always you have to push the buttons in the right order before it works !
Oh yes finally you save the files as 'Save Optimal..'

Succes Cool Razz

Hey Bennie is there a page where they explain how to copy and paste something from one picture to another

Hi Satch

Here it is:

If you are in the internt explorer (or Firefox) ..just right click on the pic and choose copy .(afbeelding) kopieren.
Then in Photoshop choose new ..it automaticly suggests the right size accept ..and do paste (control-v)

If you have already a psd open in Photoshop then you just can do control-V and it will be in a new layer then.

So basicly via the clipboard in the easiest !

Is thsi what you meant ?

Well I can copy and paste, but one picture is a totaaly different scale then the other. What is the best way to resize them to the same scale?

Ok Satch not sure what you meant.
Scaling is done with Edit--Transform-->Scale (do select the layer first)
Then you get a nice reatangle.
If you hold the shift key pressed while moving a corner point of the rectangle then everything stays in good "relation".
This is the easiest way as you can make each layer a litle less tranparant
to see if they fit (normally only two layers need to be visible to do this
If you are satisfied press enter

Satch a nice link:

http://www.jasmania.nl/photoshop/photoshop.htm
http://www.jasmania.nl/photoshop/blending.htm -- dutch

and a difficult one:
http://www.shootnshop.nl/photoshop.php?cat=5
(too difficult for me) as I basicly do cut & paste (not coloring etc)

The neon effect looks cool Bennie! I found that too, but don't know how to make the shades yet.... Confused

Hi Satch ,
The shadow thing is on the same menu (effect --> the first choice, slagschaduw in Dutch)
If you doubleclick you see the shadow, you can even drag the shadow to the desired position Exclamation Exclamation
