So, I'm busy not doing stuff I should be doing. And, as such, I'm reading through some of the stuff on the TV Tropes page. And, I have to say, their Console RPG Clichés are pretty amusing.

Something I learned while wasting my time:
Some people have no idea what makes a cliché a cliché and just like to rattle off "statistical" numbers in order to sound intelligent. |

| Hey Caroline, what's with the brackets before and after everything you type? I've never really asked that before, this could possibly be something I could potentially learn whilst wasting time! |

I use the double-parentheses, as I'm talking. I haven't had Caroline really chat in a while. So... since they're my thoughts / comments, I put the double-parentheses before and after them.
I do the same thing when I play WoW as well. )) |
