On a cool winter evening a soft light flickered in the frosted window of small cabin located on the southwest side of the infamous city of pleasure; smoke rose from the chimney as the wind brushes against the trees, few spec of snow falling onto the wooden roof. Inside, a male figure sat alone by the fireplace, his feet propped up on small foot stool, his hand holding a glass, half empty with a whiskey. His dark green eyes gazed into the fire, the light dancing across his dark fur, casting a dark showed behind him. Artyom was truly at peace after a long and stressful day.

Félicette walked through the hills and held herself around her arms and caught a chill, she was a night person but dear was it cold tonight, the snow landing on her cheeks occasionally also sent shivers down her back, she wished she had learned where some of her new friends had been living so she could pop in to get warm but alas she forgot to ask such details of them. One too many tails and she didn't snatch a single penny from any of them and all they did was lead her so far out of town it would be incredibly exhausting to march all the way back, luckily she was coming up on a rather cosy looking cabin... "Perfect," she thought, "the fire's burning too, look at that smoke..."

Cheery thoughts of warmth and comfort dazzled trough her mind as she made her way to the cabin, all the way to the window which she tried to gaze through but it was too frosted, so she sighed and decided to take her chances that the person inside would be friendly enough, so she knocked on the door and knocked again for good measure.

Artyom's red tipped ear shot up in suppose from the sudden knock on the door

"I wonder who that could be..." the tall, black feline said to himself as he stood to his feet, "...and at this hour?" with his eyes glancing at the clock that read "8:45pm" on it's analog display.

Placing his glass down on the small table next to him, the black panther walked at a hurried pace and started to unlock the door.

Félicette sighed with relief as the cold air turned her breath to vapour as she heard the door unlocking, hopefully not to be greeted by the barrel of a rifle or shotgun she said aloud "Forgive my late and unexpected arrival, but I need some shelter from this cold for a time," before the door was unlocked.

Something about her voice seemed familiar to him, he couldn't quite place it but he knew that he had heard this females voice before. Still he couldn't turn her away in the cold.

"Its quite alright miss" Artyom replied I'm friendly voice as he opened the door, "My door is always always open to.help those in....Félicette?!" the panther asked with a surprised look on his face

As the door opened to reveal the panther, Félicette stared blankly at him as he recalled her name, she tried to do the same...

"Heeey, I remember you... You're that Panther I met in the tavern... Artyom, was it?" She felt relieved to recall his name, and to see a face that would recall hers as familiar.

The panther nods with a smile, content that she remember who he was, "We can talk more inside where its nice and warm" Aryom replied, motioning his hand towards the fire place. "Don't want you to freeze out here now"

"Oh goodie, I'd prefer not to freeze anyway!" Félicette hurriedly slipped inside and felt the warmth immediately, it was so relieving and she sighed contently. "Thank you for having me."

The panther chuckled to himself at how quickly she hurried inside.

"The pleasure is mine, it will be nice to have some company for a change" Artyom says to his new guest with a smile, "Are thirsty? I can make some tea if you'd like"

"Tea would be nice..." Félicette looked around and admired how cosy the place looked, and felt. "Or anything stronger, if you're in the mood. I always am."

"I could 'Irish' up the Tea" Arryom replies with a chuckle as he walks over to the kitchen, his tail switching being hike with a content purr in his chest

"Oh I like the sound of that..." Félicette watches Artyom disappear into the kitchen and she finds herself standing by the fire warming her hands.

Artyom fills up a kettle with water and brings and sets ot on the stove, a few minutes later he returned to Félicette with a blanket in hand.

"This should keep you warm until the tea is ready" he says with a smile

"Oh, thank you very much," Félicette takes the blanket and wraps it around her shoulders, the chill in her body slowly fading as she sits on the armrest of the chair next to the fire.

"Do you spend a lot of your time saving kitties from the cold out here?"

"No, not really" The panther replies with a soft chuckle.

"I don't usually get many guests here, but I'm not about to turn someone away if they need help" he replies with a proud smile as he tends to the fire for a moment before taking a seat next to her

"Aw, and here I thought I was somethin' special" Félicette teased, swinging her feet she let her butt slide from the handrest to the seat, falling on the cushion with a clump, she felt quite childish at times but quickly laughed at her own antics.

The panther showed a smile at the felines attics, chuckling a little at her teasing reply

"Perhaps you are" Her replied back with a little grin as he teased Félicette back, starting to relax a bit.

"So what brings you out here so late?" he asked, genuinely curious about how she had arrived here.

"Oh, I was just... out and about..." Félicette didn't really feel comfortable getting kicked out after revealing her thieving ways. Plus whiskey, there was tea and whiskey. And warmth. And sexy panther company, why would she tell him that?

"Just conveniently lost then" The panther replies with a chuckle, sensing that she was uncomfortable with personal questions, and stayed his curiosity, for the time being, just happy to have a conversation at least.

"I might get up to naughty activities I dare not mention," Félicette smirked at the sound of what she said, crossing her legs and humming like she was feigning innocence.

Just then a loud whistling sound echoed from the kitchen, the all to families sound of water boiling in the kettle.

"Teas done, I'll he right back" Artyom said to her as he stood up, glancing her over for a moment and grining a little at how "innocent" she looked

As he disappeared to get the tea she sighed, he was nice. She looked around and saw quite a few things that could be slipped under her dress but... no, too nice. And charming to a certain point. She wouldn't get invited back if she pinched something, and he didn't deserve the unkindness, she felt.

Her mind would wander to things like that often, she shook the thoughts from her head and laid back in the seat, she was actually quite thirsty and a hot drink would do her good.

((Sorry the long wait))

Artyom went to work preparing the tea for his surprise guest, still wondering about what her true motives where and why she was our here this late, but she seemed nice, and it was good to have some company for once.

A few moments later her host returned with two glasses of tea, he handed one to her with a little smile on his lips"It has a little whiskey mixed in"

"Ooh, it's like you know me too well already, usually it takes a couple of weeks before people know too much!" She joked and too the glass, "Whiskey is my favourite." Félicette took a sip and sighed, "Goes well with the tea."

Artyom chuckled at how excited she was from a lucky guess. "Well I was drinking some before you showed up" he replies taking a seat next to her.

"I figured you would like some as well" He takes a sip of tea and sighs softly

"You sure know how to make a girl feel right at home." Félicette crosses her legs and takes another drink. "So why do you live so far out of Bon Bon anyway? Not that I'm not glad you do..."

Artyom takes a slow sip of tea and relaxing his seat before answering.

"As fun as that place is, sometimes I just need a place to myself. I always have been a solitary creature and being out here reminds me of home, and where I grew up" he replied with an himself tone, smiling a little

"I see, that's a nice reason. Bon Bon doesn't remind me of home all that much, it's not seedy enough. I mean, some parts are pretty seedy here but it's still not as bad."

Félicette took another drink and swallowed it, as the hot tea and mix of whiskey went down her throat she brought her hand up and traced her fingertips down her neck, following it. Then she tapped them when they were as low as her cleavage, under a scarf she happened to be wearing to keep herself warm when she was outside.

"Not that it's not a good thing it's much less dangerous here, and the air is certainly cleaner. But still, the old thrills are nice... It's definitely the same in the downright dirty kind of seedy though..."

Artyom smirks a little, "Down right dirty sounds about right" he replies with a chuckle, taking another sip of the warm drink, his eyes watching her finger run down her neck until his eyes looked back up at hers.

"So, where are you from Félicette?"

Félicette tapped her fingers in her chin and answered Artyom, "Well my parents were from Paris, but they died and I was taken in by someone close to them, then I moved with them to Britain and loved a lot of my time in London."

She put her cup down, having quickly finished it and then she tucked her feet up and sort of kneeled on the seat, with her legs tucked up to the side and her arm resting on the armrest, and the other draped over her body.

"Then I sort of worked my way doooown and onto a boat or 3 and all the ay here."
