Hey Martina!

Was just thinking: Everyone seems to have a thing in life they sometimes dream of, but never get around to doing due to a busy schedule or just never getting around to doing it... Maybe like starting your own bar.

Curious what your dream is? Razz

Plus everybody else on the forum is of course free to post his or hers! Wink

Martina World/Martina Land would be awesome to visit. Have the appropriate arrangements been started I wonder: (proper zoning, ground breaking, etc.) Wink I'd cross the Atlantic in a heartbeat to walk through those gates! Laughing

Anyway, back on topic, my dream ever since I was little was to learn how to fly. I did get to take control of a small plane very briefly about 10 years ago (with the plane's pilot sitting right next to me of course Shocked )

Ok, picture this: New York marathon, or in your case Marcus, the London marathon. Your starting number is 50.126. Get in line! Very Happy

That's why this topic is about dreams. We can dream whatever we like.

Yeah cool dream Irwin! Cool Maybe Martina needs a pilot? Wink

A friend of mine had the same dream. He was guitarplayer, a very good one, but did totally quit with it and got his flying license. He returned to playing guitar luckily, but now he can fly his band home and waiste less time at airports. Razz

I always had the dream of making my own recording studio. It's quite hard to find a good and affordable location. Confused
Oh well you never know what happens in the future! Razz

What's the tally so far? How many down, how many more to go?

You should pick up this book:
http://www.amazon.com/exec/obidos/tg/detail/-/0761104844/qid=1127187837/sr=8-1/ref=pd_bbs_1/102-8412606-4075349?v=glance&s=books&n=507846

Looks interesting although the title is a little depressing Sad

Wow you have still a lot of the world left to discover. Travelguides are always fun to read, although I prefer to explore on my own and meet cool people there to talk to. The local people know the best spots.

Plus they say you have to see Naples and then you can die. Confused

Oh and I've been here:

It's a small village in Austria. Tongue
p.s. 'Bitte nicht so schnell' means... Please don't go so fast in German Laughing

So, is it pronounced the way I think it is pronounced or are any of the letters silent QuestionWassat

Maybe it is a good thing that it is a small village. 50,000 people or more from that town might make it more famous or infamous!

That isn't a bad tally so far, Martina! Remember you're still young and at that pace, you might get to all 190+ countries in the world before you know what Wink

Wonder which goal you'll reach first: All 50 states or All 190+ countries in the world?Curious

Although, I'm sure there a few countries you could reasonably skip...
cough***Iraq***cough

Plus you can scratch off Utah and New Mexico if you visit here:

Hmmm...maybe something for you to learn Dutch from! Wink
