Ok i was partying last night for a friends bday, but i went to bed early as i felt terrible. I just woke up and its 6am, and i feel like crying i feel so ill. Not sure what to do now, i took a few pills, but feel so bad not sure whether i should take some sleeping tabs and try and sleep it off. DaMN THE FLU! Im surprsied to get it this early in the season. I just hope it doesnt last long Confused

Please stay warm and comfy in bed and try to sleep it off. That usually works for me. And drink planty of water.

Lots of bed rest...
Pain killers (tylenol or advil)...
LOTS of fluids (fruit juice, not alcohol!)...
Turn off the phone...
and (much as it pains me to say it) unplug the computer.
Crawl under the covers and stay there. You'll get better if you give yourself a chance.

Thanks Guys. Im feeling much better, still cant smell or taste anything, and have a bad cough but other then that im feeling much better. I wanted to do a camshow today but im not quite well enough for that, so im hoping for another Tuesday night one, hope you guys can make it Very Happy

Why am i up this early? lol

I have been up a hour now coughing, it sucks Sad

I really need to get back to bed as i have slept less then 4 hours so far. Plus im meant to be going to a Ice Hockey game with a friend, which i may cancel if i feel this shitty later.

Hangovers when sick make things alot worse, and i really didnt even drink very much Confused

Prescription for Martina from Dr. Marcus:

- Antibiotics for cough
- No alcohol until the head cold goes
- Plenty of fluids
- Lots of rest
- Stay warm (No ice hockey)

I didnt end up going Ice Hockey yesterday as i was feeling shitty. No i have never been to an Ice Hockey game before, a few of my friends like the sport so i was gonna go with them.

I pretty much spent the day in bed watching TV yesterday which was nice. I still have a very bad cough so im trying to go easy with the smoking Sad

Im gonna try and do a camshow tomorrow night, ill let you guys know by tonight or tomorrow morning Wink

Your illness hfas some good sides though, you live healthier:

- more sleep
- less drinks
- less smoking

I sincerely hope you're taking care of yourself, Martina...and getting back on your feet soon! Don't rush back into your hectic life (my, I'm afraid I sound a bit like mum, eh?), and give yourself plenty of time to get well (maybe a Hallmark card, that?).

I'll be out of town for the weekend, so if you're up to a cam chat, I'll have to miss it (*sniff sniff tear*)...but I'll be back next week. I hope you are fully recovered by then!
