Not exactly the kind of conversation you would find here, but I myself am very very pleased with what I have seen on this upcoming game.

I'm certainly looking forward to it, as well as several other games due both sooner and later than it is. Next month is certainly going to be a fun one for some.

To name one, yes. The others I am most looking forward to are Heavenly Sword, Lair (both for the PS3) and .hack//sign G.U. Vol.3 Redemption (PS2).

The one I mentioned is the last of the most recent instalment of the .hack games, not the television series or manga. I've played and beaten all the previous .hack games and seen the original television series based off the manga, they were both excellent, but the latest .hack television series does'nt hold a match, let alone a candle, to the original. At least, that's my opinion.

They've both been there, actually, but yes, I believe we are speaking of the same one. Just to make sure, however, you are speaking of the one where the main character is a small, orange clad child, yes?

I have to say that the .hack Gu game are excellent... though sometime the high pitched voices can get on my nerves sometimes the game play makes up for it

Listening at a lower volume helps with that. It does for me, anyway.

I haven't played the GU series yet, I have too much I'm still working on. Maybe I'll run it next. Haven't seen the anime series yet though. Does it happen before, after or during the GU games? And, just because I like being pointlessly helpful, the timeline for .hack as far as I know goes, .hack//Sign - .hack games/Liminality (the episodes that came with the first .hack games designed to be watched after the game it comes with is beat) - .hack//Legend Of The Twilight series (new players "win" the Kite and BlackRose characters) - .hack/GU

The G.U. anime series takes place just after the training mission in the first game. So it goes .hack G.U. Vol.1 training mission, anime series, then six months (I think) later in the game is where everything picks up in the gameplay and storyline. Then come the rest of the games. I'm almost posotive that is how it goes.

Well, now that I have played and beaten all of the .hack games available, I can safely recommend them all. Be warned though, the original four .hack games' fighting system is somewhat dull. The G.U. trio are by far the best and the fighting system is excellent.
