Never said that... Actually, some of my friends ARE Goths.

Sadly, their reputation is adumbrated by the Emos and (worse yet) the Vampire LARPers (that, at least here in Italy, are known as utterly vain nutcases with an ego the size of the Vatican)...

Then again, such is the fate of many groups: the goths have the Emos, the furries have the spiritguidehalfanimalwhatchercallits, and so on and so forth.

Oh well...

Yes but that has a very high probability of turning into a fight. Physical or otherwise.

x3 That is a very good quote.

And I used to be a goth. Not anymore though, although I still wear a lot of black and purple.

That is a fun spin on that quote. The way I first heard it was "There comes a time in every turtle's life when they have to bite." I heard it when I was a child, the first time I went to the zoo, I believe. And if wearing dark colors makes you a goth then I'm guilty.

Ah, vampires. So sad, that such a title has fallen to a mere fashion statement.

I'd love to go there. I adore meeting other people who like to dress differently. When I go out I usually dress in a full PVC outfit, complete with collar, leash and thigh-high boots. It's so much fun to feel like someone else for a few hours!

A veritable cornucopia of gothiness to be sure. I do remember seeing a couple (guy and girl) dressed in the same fashion as the rest of their crowd, but all pink in color. The first time I'd ever seen a pink, spiky mohawk.

If you ever have the opportunity, I would highly recommend it.

Calm yourself, Xebulon, you're going to burst something. And I cannot help but agree with him, Chessy. Besides, who wants to be perfect? It's far to much work and not nearly enough fun, in my opinion.

Shapely, cute and with a broad mind and a good sense of humor. And willing to accept that "perfect" is a meaningless term, of course. Very Happy
But then, this is only the opinion of an old platy...

"Perfect" is not a state of being, it is a goal. Perfection is impossible to attain physically, hence why it should remain a goal to strive for. But then, this is only the opinion of a chronologically young wolf...

I'm sorry Ashton, but I have to disagree with you on that. I have personally witnessed perfect, physical perfection. I was even able to touch it. Let us set the Wayback Machine(tm) to Rhode Island circa 1998. At a corner deli in Green Hill, an adolescent boy was eagerly waiting for his sandwich when what should appear but a vision of absolute perfection. The golden brown crust, the ample stack of pastrami, the gooey cheese, the fresh pickles, the healthy sheen of spicy mustard, the solitary olive toothpicked in as if harpooned by Ahab himself.... *sighs and wipes away a single tear* As brief an affair as it may have been, those were still the happiest 8 minutes of the entire year.

Now, as we return to the present, some of you might be wondering just what on Earth the point of all that was. It was, well, uh, let me see... *takes out some notecards and shuffles through them* Ah, yes. *ahem* "A stitch in time is worth two in the bush." Wait a minute, that can't be right. *looks through his notecards again* Aha, here it is. "Perfection is subjective, and beauty is in the eye of the beholder." Very Happy
