It is sad and unfortunate that such inconsiderate individuals exist.

If somebody would share my works people pay for I would do everything to find out his/her IP and start a charge against him since breaking ToS of anything can be charged~ Good that I am a computer scientist. Rolling Eyes

I have a question. What about having this comic actually printed and sold online (I'm guessing the local Barnes & Nobel probably wouldn't want to carry it)? I collect comics and manga and I'd love to have a bound copy of this. I know that Fred over at Megatokyo has put out 6 books of his comic. I just don't know how much the overhead for that would be.

For future referance, please do not use the term "faggot" or any variation as an insult, I find it offensive. Thank you.

If I may be so bold, might I suggest a few other choice words to describe various people lacking in morale fiber? Rapscallion, chowder head, blackguard, miscreant, reprobate, vagabond, knave, mountebank, scoundrel, charlatan, and my personal favorite, slime bucket.

Those are good ones, Xebulon, but "rat fink", "louse" and "clear-blooded mongrel" might want to be reconsidered, considering our current state of being.

Wow, wow.. I am way behind...

Vanessa, since you replied to my post specifically:

Quote:
I'm very very sorry and hoping in your undrestanding that if we don't acts in some way the site will close...

I just wanted to note that my post was not a comment that I disapproved, I understand the need to take action to make it a little harder to save the files off. I'd rather see some work be done than the site go down.

I realize my sentiments are coming in way late. Wink

Pirate scum... But I've made my opinion on this subject plain enough before and feel no need to go into it again. Please do what you feel necessary to earn your living.

I would really like for this site to stay up. Very Happy

Let's hope we catch that thief red-handed. I got a lot of guarding to do in my accounts and none of my works were stolen.

This site needs a really good security guard.

Ever thought of using a script to watermark the images by username? Wink

It's not too much work - a little PHP and ImageMagick and Bob's your Uncle!

No, wait.. that's not useful, go home, Uncle Bob. I mean "there's a watermark". Wink

Hi Tursi, yes, I am familar with those you suggested above and we have considered that...

But it puts a huge load on the server to create a watermark for each person...

Its a good suggestion though. And we are still looking into it.

p.s. Tursi, don't forget to get some links to BonBon and Vixine for your homepage! More links for the furry community the better. Funny you linked to Asia Carrera's site. She shot with us like years ago for our Strip Games.... She is very cool in person!

Hmm, that might put a damper on getting back in touch with them alright.

That's cool, it did seem like she would be, but of course I was merely a fan. Smile

I need to split the personal and professional parts of my site apart, but I've taken a note to add a link for you guys! Smile

It's a shame that the hard work of others is seen as something that certain people feel they have the give away for free against the will of the artist. It's mainly a problem of mentality and there are many groups which sponsor accounts for people to access various sites and steal images and materials from them.

The idea of "Royal Members" in Bon Bon is very good in my opinion, since many, many of these leeches buy the most limited accounts to try to access what ever is on the site. Just by extending the minimum amount of time one has to be a paying member can deny many leechers from stealing everything.

Personally, the division of images in 25 parts is actually a bit of a blessing for me. I'm stuck on an ISDN line here and because the parts are smaller to download, the comics load faster for me. Though I have to admit, that I did find out about PBB.com through the first comic being posted similar sites as 4chan. In a way of finding out what the comic is about and the fact that it has an interesting and relatively compelling story. Plus Vanessa's art is amazing (the style, coloring and the detail in the drawings are extremely hard to match).
