They were right here in this thread ... Canadians have notorious reputations for two things in Florida, etc. Nobody except Gawd commented, and all he added was that it is actually those people from Quebec that have the reputations, not all Canadians, (and he is actually correct in that statement, but he never mentioned what they were).
Ok, so I will give answers (PLEASE NO ONE BE OFFENDED, REMEMBER THIS IS ALL IN FUN - BUT IT IS ALSO VERY TRUE) ...
Canadians (primarily French Canadians from Quebec as Gawd pointed out) are notorious in Florida for being very cheap (one example - They NEVER leave tips at restaurants), and for their horrible driving skills (one example, they make left hand turns from right hand lanes, and simply drive across 2 or 3 lanes of traffic, and think nothing of it).
In Florida we get our biggest influx of French Canadian tourists during the winter season ... And jokes about Canadians' cheapness and bad driving can be heard on all local radio and TV stations all the time.
Ok, I hope there are no French Canadians reading this, but if there are, be kind because you know it's true - And this post was made in humor, and hopefully you too are able to laugh at yourself occasionally

no offense taken, most of these are mostly old ppl 60+ year old tho. They are just looking for some sunny weather during the winter. The temperature here can get really cold ( exemple last year we got -52celcius that be around -60 F )
Ps: i didnt answer cause the only prize id love to get is a few written words from jana and i doubt you could of make me win it :/

That's okay ... It's a shame though because the grand prize was dinner with Jana. I guess no one was interested in that ????? But it's too late now because the contest has ended. I guess I'm only one having dinner with Jana ... She's going to cook dinner on my boat in middle of Caribbean (after hurricane season passes, of course). |
