Chessy also likes to talk in the third person. 
On a more serious note, I have a hard time wondering how to best solve the annoying habit you've pointed out, Ashton and Labrn. Particularly without sounding more arrogant than I already do. I mean, we can hardly lay out a schedule for people to post or a post count number to reach. And then we might have people simply paying lip service to the schedule or spamming up post count numbers, which is hardly ideal either. Closely following is the well-meaning people who, for whatever reason, can't be here consistently. |

Perhaps the answer would be to have those who have already become Royal members submit the request for royal status for a new person. Its a method used in another forum I use to attend where special status was achieved not simply through number of posts (too many or too few) but general interaction with other members.
Keep the minimum 6 month standard and if the person has proven themselves to be part of the community then the requests from other Royals will prove it. |
