Hi there. I've known about Vixine for the better part of a year but only joined last week 'cause I felt that the quality of the site was well worth it.
The membership was about what I expected (25$ a month) so I clicked on the credit card option, and was, to say the least, a little surprised when it said it wanted 37.5$ instead.
I have to admit, I have no idea why a site would say one amount on their webpage and then ask 50% more when it's actually time to pay. Is this because I live overseas or because I'm paying with a credit card? I thought at one point that it had something to do with current currency (I checked today btw, it's actually gone up to 38.02), but that doesn't make sense either.
I still joined, but it hurt my wallet a bit more than I had expected.
Could someone please explain this one to me? |

It might be because you are overseas. It's a regional pricing setting for CCBILL. It's probably because your computer connection is located overseas and not in the US.
Regional pricing is set at a fixed price because of the falling US dollars. Previously, people were paying in euros continously received discounts on rebills, which ended up hurting us.
The reason why the 38.02 price went up might because of the change in euro dollars. Did you pay using Euros dollars?
It should be 25Euros is what you paid for.
