There isn't much time until the first great ball, and I take Mystic's suggestion opening this topic so that you can give some suggestion for your clothes.
The ladies will be able to dress in any way they prefer, if you have some ideas on color and model you can ask, reference pictures would be appreciated.
The men will all be dressed in black, white and grey, in a sort of tuxedo. I'm saying "a sort" because the tuxedoes can be customized.
Neck:
You'll be able to wear other things if you don't like the white bow tie (for example Johnny will wear his shirt and indian necklace as usual)
Trousers:
will all be classical.
Shirts:
you choose the model.
Vests:
mainly white or grey
Coat:
you'' decide whether or not to have tails, but the coat will be long for everyone
I just have to ask you to be brief in the suggestions; all the weapons will be deposited at the wardrobe (there will be a scene on the topic) before entering the ballroom. Thanks for the collaboration, be quick because there are only two pages left. For all the others I'll choose right then. The surprises won't be lacking, I hope that I won't disappoint you. |

Speaking for myself, I designed my wardrobe with the ball in mind so there is no need to change a thing for me. I realize this was made to make suggestions for change but I thought it would'nt hurt to know there is at least one person you won't have to worry about, Vanessa. |

As with Ashton, since I'm always wearing White Tie, I'm suitably dressed for the occasion, already. |

I think you've already said exactly what I was going to say, Vanessa... choker instead of tie. Beyond that, I don't know what else to add.
I think maybe tails on the coat, just because his normal suit coat is long anyway, and because I like the idea that Johnny is probably borrowing the tux from a friend with fancier tastes than he does.
Any word on whether or not he can keep the hat on? I know it might clash with the rest of his attire, but I'm wondering if I'll even be able to recognize my own avatar without his stylish headwear |

Chessy would love something involving peacock feathers, but she's not overly fussy. ^o^ Vanessa can play with her as she likes. *giggle* |

I would probably dress in something that will match with Scarlet's attire.
I would like the keep the shamrock pin if thats ok. |

I'd prefer a purple tie, and anything other than a bow tie. Perhaps a matching vest as well, pending on how much I'll be wearing. |

As I've said before, I'm more than happy to make Lord Nelson's extensive properties and interests available for the benefit of others. And let's face it, I'm creditably dandified enough to say "My God, man! The cut of that coat will not do for a ball. No. Here, take this coat, I've got some spares." |

But is he your size Lord Nelson? *Giggles*
Oh Vanessa, I've got a few ideas. Mostly from the movie Dick Tracy. Breathless, played by Madonna. I love her outfits in the movie. I know its more 1920s or 1930s, but let me know if they'll work out anyways.
The first set is from the actual movie, and the second is a picture I found online of a statue modeled from her dress, so you can see how it fans at the bottom. I hope its not too difficult to arrange. Its skin tight, so I'm afraid everyone will know just how cold it is by looking at me. *Hides a bit of a blush behind her fan* Though I want to keep the fan you showed me with.

I have only a question for Mystic, I don't understand if you wish a tail or not. Incase I will draw Mystic without clothes ( for a strip tease theatre stage for example ) would be gracious to see a small tail on her backside, or do you prefer to haven't it completely? Is a bit weird to see a cute cat bottom without the tail but I do not want to force you, it is your character and her tail is a your choice , let me know. |

The nice thing about being rich and having a personal tailor is that you can have your clothes in several sizes... in case your size changes. |

Oh, don't worry Vanessa. I have a tail. Just not the traditional cat tail you'd expect. I have more of a mane tail, like horse. As you can see by this little pick by BBMBBF who put me with Leo from VGcats.

...A dress? Goodness, I don't even own a skirt... I'm a working girl, my tastes now seem far too plebeian.
I'd probably show up in some kind of business attire and be woefully under dressed. But if I must escape the fashion police, perhaps something red and/or white? Preferably red, I think. Something relatively conservative and not too attention grabbing.
As for the picture above, it looks unnervingly like Mystic is committing statutory [word censored]. Leo is so small.
Edit: Huh. I had know idea there was some kind of filter here. I didn't even use a curse word. |

I'm sure our much beloved Vanessa Santato can come up with something fitting for you, Frauline Doktor. Intresting to note, though. When I picture you in a dress for the ball, I picture a red, backless thing. You make quite the stunning picture in it, too. |

I suppose that's a good example, yes. I certainly can't think of any other dress to give as an example. |

Pretty simple for the guys. I have a few questions though. For shirts, what does model mean? Also my character normally wears a collar that isn't in the comic. Is it possible to add this? |

Actually, wouldn't a military man wear his uniform (or at least a dress uniform) to a formal function? What are your thoughts, Vanessa?
|
Some branches have a formal uniform that is very much like evening dress. Also, it depends on the era; around the turn of the century, for example, the US military reserved uniforms for actual military occasions (hence the common pictures of officers wearing civilian clothes even while on duty). |
