Perhaps you should set a little something away from every paycheck so you can resubscribe, at least for the minimal subscription, and attend the ball.

That is a good idea, my friend Ashton. However, other bills need attending to first, and that leaves barely enough for food. lol

As for attending the ball, I've already said Brandon won't be at the ball. I have talked to Miss Santato about letting him appear in one or two panels. Doing what, you'll have to see. Wink

Of course, it's up to you to decide the most important and most needed course of action. If you're any hand at gardening and cooking, you can try growing your own food for a spell. It's not a short term fix, since it takes time to grow what you need, but in the long term you'd be surprised.

Actually, I do enjoy gardening. My sad excuse for a balcony is covered in potted plants. So, I'll have plenty of cherry tomatoes and berries! lol One of my favorite joys is sitting out there in the sun, plucking and eating blue and raspberries. Very Happy

Well, there you go, then. I don't imagine it would be much of a stretch to expand your garden variety to include other fruits and/or vegatables. and cooking is almost never as hard as some make it out to be. Just follow the recipe.

I know that feeling. Though it'll probably be at least a couple more weeks until I get my finances/direct deposit re-sorted out.

Well, hopefully all goes well for you Brandon.

On the bright-side, at least you don't need a subscription to continue to come here and chat with us in the forums. ^_^

That's what we're here for. (among other things) We may not be able to mention you to our respective bosses in an effort to help you get a job but we'll always be here with a kind word.

Be sure to have your mouse hover over the minimize button though. Don't want the kiddies walking past you spying Betty or Dalila popping out of their tops. *Giggles*

Hmm...come to think of it, you might need to be wary of the art posted in the forum as well. *blushes at the sudden thought* That includes mine as well.

What? Am I not a lady Ashton? Only those with no sense of dignity never blush. *Chuckles behind her fan* Though, I guess its fair to say I have a touch of exhibition in me.

Which is why I am a little surprised you blushed. Though make no mistake, you are indeed a lady in every sense of the word. And, I admit, I may have been a little out of line. If so, I do apologize most sincerly.

In response to what you said, Mystic......all I have to say is.....thank goodness for private study rooms lol

And Ashton, you are right....she is indeed a lady.

However, Mystic, I would say, you don't allow such titles to keep you from having fun or getting in a good tease or ribbing. Wink lol

She's a strong girl Ashton. She'll be alright.

Thats good to hear Mr.Wolf. I've had to use a public computer before, and there may have been some close calls, but nothing revealed. Wink

Well, no more private study rooms for me! Discovered that if i set up my laptop in a certain spot, I can use the wireless from the business next door. They offer it free anyways I found out, so I don't feel too bad about 'barrowing' it for awhile Very Happy heehee

Though, will have to get used to writing while my computer is sitting on the back of the toilet.....oh well.....at least its a room where i know I can concentrate! lol

Laughing Laughing Laughing

That's so genius, I wish I could lug my bigass desktop into the bathroom and make it a "private study". Too bad I don't live alone, otherwise I just might do it!

Ah, the beauty of wireless laptops.

Forgive my mind for wandering to the gutter, but is it just the location why you men are dragging your computers to the bathroom? Where you can have some privacy for this "adult" site? *Covers her mouth, but can't help but laugh*

Ashton, there has never been a moment or a comment that you've made that has upset me. You've always been a gentleman. I just hope you cut back and enjoy yourself from time to time. *Offers the good man a hug*

*returns Mystic's hug* I'm overjoyed to hear that, Mystic. Thank you. And I'm afraid it's impossible for me to cut back and enjoy myself from time to time. After all, it's impossible to make a point of doing something you already do all day every day.

Well, you gotta admit, tile surfaces are much easier to clean up if things get "out of hand" (hopefully I've supplied some more "gutter material" for you, Mystic... Wink )... but to be honest, the feeling of cold tile under my feet and a hard plastic toilet seat under my tush is basically a "mood-killer". Well, to me, anyway... I can't say anything for anyone else in here...

While i agree with ya about that, my friend....you have to admit that the shower can at least be fun. I mean......heated water raining down, almost a tickle upon the skin of those underneath. The water making her skin shimmer...passions making the water steam more then the temperature.......making bodies slick...sliding against each other in a dance of.................~ahem~.....beg your pardon. Embarassed

Speaking of showers, i think i'll go take a cold one! lol

I have to say that the lavatory is where I do get most of my reading done. It's an old cliche, I know, but in this case a true one.

I've actually had to stop reading in the bathroom, because I have a bad habit of getting so engrossed in whatever it is that I'm reading that I lose track of time. By the time I realize this, however, someone else has already started banging on door and/or my legs have fallen asleep from sitting on that uncomfortable toilet seat too long.

Nothing makes a person curse your name faster than when they have to use the bathroom, and you're unable to vacate quickly enough because your legs are too numb or have that annoying "pins & needles" sensation that makes walking almost unbearable.

That's one problem solved by living alone, though it also means there's nobody to alert you to how long you've been sitting there reading...

Also, I must agree, the shower is a wonderful place when you have a partner to share it with.

My stars MrWolf. I wasn't expecting such a well drawn picture of words from you. Nicely done though, for it sounds quite inviting. Wink

Why a cold one? I thought you just said you'd prefer a hot one...with a partner. Razz *Giggles and bats at him teasingly* Don't mind me MrWolf. I've just always had a thing for shy men. Wink

As for you Ashton, its good to hear you take some time to relax.
Johnny, the only image you've painted in my mind is seeing you with a mop and bucket having to clean up feverishly after making another "mess." *Laughs with a hand gently blocking her open mouth*

I'm kinda surprising myself. Embarassed First that bit on FA, now this. Though, i guess it could be because of the story i'm writing right now Wink

Laughing I'm gonna have to add that to my list of future pictures to draw and post in here, and it'll be entitled "Johnny the Spooge-Mopper". The other ideas on my list include "The Great Forum Pie-Fight", "Johnny in a Banana-Hammock", and "Coygirls and Indians" (not hard to guess who'll be in that last one).

We'll see how quickly I can sketch something out and hijack a scanner so I can share it with everyone in here...

I too am a "John Reader." Almost to the point where I might dance about when I have to go until I find a bit of literature to read while I visit it.

I didn't know you were taking up drawing Johnny. Good luck in your ventures with sketches.
