Because it's a shocking experience, getting grabbed from out of nowhere. Word of warning, don't do that with a martial artist, our reflexes sometimes get the better of us.

well with a true stealth hug the hugger is gone before the hugged even realizes they are there... if you have not reached that level of mastery learn how to duck

Have you ever tried to duck an incoming knee or elbow? It's does'nt exactly work out the same way as ducking a punch or a kick.

I know what you mean about those reflexes Ashton, though I'm not a martial artist. I did alot of backyard wrestling and taught myself a bit of judo from books, especially how to safe fall. I'd have to say I have my own style where I try to send as many attacks as possible, which I trained with my friend who studied up on defense. He can quickly deflect blows with each hand. I've tried to make my own style of quick fluid attacks, that are almost meant to be deflected so you can get in close enough to grapple, then comes the wretling! Twisted Evil

No no, I'm not back for good. I've just managed to make my way in past their site blocker, because a few soldier friends of mine have shown me two hidden phone/computer stations that I didn't know of on post. This will probably be the last time I'm on, because after I visited the last time, it was blocked the next day. But this is a new computer at a new MWR building. (MWR = Morale, Welfare, and Relaxation)

Ashton, you have far to many well honed skills and vast knowledge to say otherwise. Your not so much the man running the playboy mansion, but the kind, educated, and caring lord during this time frame, if not a century earlier.
