*gives LabrnMystic her sweet smile*
Thank You for the welcome and the compliment, Mr. Labrn.
My grandmother does have a sweet name, then gave it to me as my name. *smile as she remembering her past.*
(*hint hint* this is one of her background information I came up with ^^!)
(Edit: I'm not even sure if that make any sense to some of you ^^!) |

Interesting. Not so much for Labrn, but the man behind him, my family has begun the tradition of the son taking on the father's name for his middle name. This has happened for the past 4 generations.
I have my father's first name for my middle name,
My father has his father's first name for his middle name,
My grandfather has his father's first name for his middle name...
And if/when I have a son, he'll take my first name as his middle name. |

I know I am rather late here, and I did say in my returning post that I wouldn't reply in every new person's thread, but I couldn't help but respond in this case.
Welcome to this pleasant place, Miss Apricot. -takes her hand and bows, brushing her knuckles with his lips- It is rare to see a ferret, and it's a pleasure to make your acquaintance. I see you've already been initiated with a pie fight.
There's one thing that has been niggling at the back of my mind while observing; it's odd for a lady to bow, rather than curtsey. The only women I've noticed bowing before are from the Orient, so I was curious to know if that's your origins. I apologise if such an impertinence appears discourteous. |

Not unless it's alright for that person to tell his/her past if they wanted to.....I think....
Anyway, to answer your question, Mr. Tadelesh...I guess I didn't learn much of becoming a Lady when I was growing up. I usually get scolded from people when I do thing that's not "Lady-like." Like when I greet a person, I bow instead of cursty, I couldn't do it because it's harder than it looks. Even though I couldn't do it, I learn how to respect others (whether I wanted to or not) and little of manner at the dinner table ^^!.
And thats why I bow instead of cursty...Any more questions? |
