I don't know how many people currently subscribe to PBB or how the development in membership is. There are a lot who don't post here on the forum.

Aside from the wonderful artowrk, I think that it was a really good decision of Vanessa to draw avatars for long time members. It encourages people to join and stay for at least six months, and it helps create a community feeling here.

So I personally just think that Vanessa should continue doing what she does: Producing high quality artwork with a compelling story, and taking part in the community with comments and custom avatars.

The comics where what drew me into membership but the forum is definately my 2nd favorite thing!

I think Vanessa is doing a fine job. The only way to attract more people to Bon Bon, is to spread the word for her. She can only do so much without becoming too weighed down with works that she can't keep up with.

I'm sure she's already having a time trying to keep up with the Royal member's who get avatars as well as other projects that she does on the side, such as her jewelery.

As much as many more members would be great for the site's prosperity, too many members would mean she's have to put more rules on who gets an avatar, and how often she could even do such a thing.

I wouldn't mind seeing more members here. It seems like so many simply disappear after have been around and quite active for a month. Others disappear, then return and announce that they are back, and then quickly disappears again. It's quite a shame when so many of them have been really promising members.

But there has still been an increase in activity here lately, I think, which is something I'd assume helps get more people to participate as well. We've really come a long way these last couple of months. Or at least that's how it seems to me. Whether that means that the main site is also experiencing such an increase, I don't know, nor do I really know much about how things were before I joined, so I really can't comment on whether there might come a time where the amount of custom avatars could be problematic.
