wow that was..... well i dont know what that was.

although i think its kind of funny that the guy playing as goku looks american.

Chinese actor Chow Yun Fat (Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon; A Better Tomorrow) plays Master Roshi, and James Marsters ("Spike" from Buffy the Vampire Slayer and Angel) plays Piccolo Daimao. Personally, I think Chow Yun Fat is a little too young and good-looking an actor to play the leacherous Turtle Hermit (though maybe James Hong would have been a better choice, since he's a pretty funny guy anyway). As for Marsters as Piccolo... hopefully he doesn't end up looking too much like Spike dyed green.

So far, the IMDb threads are filled to the brim with hatred for this movie, and it hasn't even hit the theaters yet. Hoo-boy...

I'm not going to say anything bad about the movie until i see it for my self and to be honest i think the trailer for it looks kind of cool

wow. a non-asian goku. hmmm.... kind of weird, alot of my people are i know are like a 'white' goku. LOL

Yeah, most folks seem pretty hung up on Goku not being Asian, which is understandable... it just seems odd that Hollywood, even after all this time, is still somewhat resistant to having Asian or Asian-American leads in their films. Case in point: the announced cast for the upcoming movie based on Avatar: The Last Airbender. But I suppose that's a whole other topic of discussion... Rolling Eyes
